i think i would go with either the names of my kiddos (the 6th one is due in october . . . so it's a challenge to get them all on one piece of jewelry) or a favorite scripture (i'm thinking romans 15.13, but there are so many that i need to be reminded of often!)
thanks!

I would put one of my favorite bible verses:

Very Cute! I would put "Worry Doesn't Empty Tomorrow of its problems. It Empties Today of Its Strength"

I would add 2 Corinthians 12:9

Of course cut down a little! :)

Actually I think the quote I just left is actually supposed to read

I would put select phrases from 1 Corinthians 13 on the bracelet {along with the copper heart}. I've been discouraged because of some circumstances in my relationship, and the reminder of what perfect love is would be great for me right now.

Thanks, Erin. :)

Oh goodness, how beautiful is that!!! Thank you for doing this give-a-way! I would put:

Oh Lord grant that I shall never seek so much to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, or to be loved as to love with all my heart.

It is St. Francis prayer, but it was said by Cpl Eugene Roe Medic 101st Airborne Battle @ Bastogne (Battle of the Bulge)WWII as he tried to care for Soldiers who had no boots, little ammo & practically no food in the dead of winter. It is a constant reminder to me of the sacrifices our Military make each and every day - and as an Army Wife I must do my best to support those Heroes families.

Good Morning Erin Sweetie...
My gosh, just when I think you can't get any better with your items, you bring out even more awesome one.

I wouldn't change a thing. I would want the bracelet as is. Love the quote, and that little hammered heart is how mine has been feeling of late. I have been searching for a little HOPE, as I have been ill since May. That heart would be a constant reminder of God's love for me. Right where I can see it each and every day.

Erin sweetie, thank you for the wonderful opportunity to win such a beautiful design of love. You are a very giving woman.

This quote has always been in a tiny font on the bottom of every resume I have ever sent out. It expresses exactly how I WANT to live my life. There are tough moments but I have to sit back and look at the birds and butterflies and relish the beautiful moment.

Also as an engineer, I love the author and I think its such an unlikely quote from Einstein that it just makes it that much more perfect. =)

This is a beautiful bracelet! I'm always coming up with ideas that I wish would fit on jewelry.... and I love the little heart charm! Thank you for doing the giveaway!

I'm having a really hard time picking just one favorite quote, so I'll tell you two of my favorites. I'd be happy with either one.

"All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost."

I've always loved this quote from The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. Especially the line about "Not all who wander are lost", which I've wanted to wear on a piece of jewelry for a while now.

And my other quote is from Doctor Who. Every time I watch the episode this is from, it makes me cry when The Doctor says it. I've had a lot of hard things and this just really spoke to me.
(I didn't count the characters, but if it's too long you could cut out the first sentence, and it would still make sense, I think.)

"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things; but vice-versa, the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant."

The Tesdalls said...

Wow...another GREAT piece of jewelry!! You are amazing!! I love this bracelet! I love quotes so I would most likely be putting a quote or Bible verse on the bracelet, but I would have to think long and hard about it so I can't decide immediately right now on the spot!;)

mrsrstjr said...

I would love this bracelet! I would have it say "Though we may be apart, our hearts are always together." since my husband is deploying this fall. :)

I would put our family's "theme verse" on there: "Do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God" Micah 6:8 . . . We are getting ready to move into the inner-city to do ministry, and it would be wonderful to have a reminder of why and how we are doing what we're doing!

I love this bracelet! I just bought my first necklace and would love to add this bracelet to my collection.

I am a reading teacher and therefore my favorite teaching quote is:

"The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires." - William Ward

However, I don't think that would fit so then I would put my favorite life quote:

-Teddy Roosevelt

Thanks!!

I have battled with Ovarian Cancer twice and sometimes I can't help but worry about the cancer returning....however, this verse reminds me that if the Lord did allow the cancer to return HIS Grace will always be sufficient for me! Is that lhis life becomes all that you want it to
your dreams stay big your worries stay small
I hope you know somebody loves you and wants the same things too."
or I'd do "Have fun stormin' the castle!
Be good.
Remember who you are and that we love you no matter what."
for my daughter that turns 16 this fall, and will start driving and dating and will be leaving for college in a short couple of years These are the things we have been saying to her everytime she leaves the house since she started kindergarten.

My father in law got diagnosed with ALS in May 2003. He just passed away this summer, and through his horrible disease he had two quotes he would use.

It Could Be Worse, and Count Your Many Blessings.

I would put these two quotes on it, with his name at the bottom and give it to my mother in law. :)

Beautiful!! I would put this quote from The Little Prince"

“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

Thank you for your generosity!

Oooh! Or else I would put Joshua 1:9 - Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. It just a super comforting scripture. Because we are truly never alone if we allow the Lord into our lives.

So many good quotes, only one bracelet...so hard to decide! I think I'll go with this one by Ralph Waldo Emerson - it seems very appropriate for a bracelet:

"Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not."

Thanks for the opportunity to win! ~Kristin from Windy Poplars

I am a mother of 4 wonderful boys + my husband. Needless to say I find myself surrounded by boys stuff day in and day out, so I have a saying I like to say...

"Being a girl in a boys world isn't always easy,
but I am loving every minute of it."

I would follow the saying with each of my boys names.

THANKS for the chance to win such an amazing design.

Beautiful! A tough decision to know what to put on it.

Either from Colossioans 3:15 "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts."

or John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing."

Oh or I would put a quote that my grandmother has said for as long as I can remember, that my husband and I now say:

'I love you a bushel
and a peck
and a hug around the neck.'

LOVE THIS!!

Ohh so beautiful! There are two quotes I would choose from... or maybe I'd just buy a 2nd bracelet. I would use the quote shown in the pictures and give it to my mom, who is one of the strongest women I know, AND she loves tea! :) Or I'd pick this quote for myself: "All of us are in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." - Oscar Wilde

I would put any of these quotes, that express the love for my baby boy, my miracle my everything.

"There has never been, nor will there ever be, anything quite so special as the love between a mother and a son"

"Watching you grow has been the delight of my life. I look at you and wonder what dreams you will dream, what mountains you will climb, what joys you will have. I know there will be tears and struggles as well, but my prayer is that you will grow into the man you are meant to be."

And this one is simple but so cute:

"twinkle twinkle

how you fill my heart
with joy."

And when two such people encounter each other, and their eyes meet, the past and the future become unimportant. There is only that moment, and the incredible certainty that everything under the sun has been written by one hand only. It is the hand that evokes love, and creates a twin soul for every person in the world. Without such love, one's dreams would have no meaning.

I would LOVE to win!! I would put "have a good day." (In order, the movies quoted are: The Emperor's New Groove, Steel Magnolias, True Romance, True Lies, and Forrest Gump.)

These quotes just make me (and my family) smile. ("You're so cool!" has a special significance for me and my hubby too.) So having these little movie tidbits (we are huge movie buffs) on my arm would be quite a treasure.
