I would put either a bible verse or a quote. I love both of these!

Or

I have always loved that quote since I was teenager. It would be nice to have that engraved in a bracelet.

Feel you wrap around me and watch the world crumble away,
Look into your eyes and watch your seasons change,
Fall into your sky, I'm never coming down again.

It's from a song my husband to be wrote for me. I'd just have to consult with him which line he would rather leave out.

It's not super long, but I would get the quote "Because I knew you..." then put DMH 1/24/44-2/11/09

A memorial of sorts to my mom. I miss her daily and this would be perfect! I would also add a charm that I make with her baby pic.

Thanks for the chance to win!

10k run ~ 5/22/2010 ~ 55:23

I still need to finish what I started. I have never been a runner and just started running in March to support a family in our community that lost their 8 year old daughter to cancer. They set up a 5k run in April to honor their daugher and raise money for the American Cancer Society. I lost my oldest brother to brain cancer when he was 8 and thought this was a great way to also remember him and the struggle my family has gone through. After my first 5k I have just kept running and never looked back!

This is wonderful -- thank you for the opportunity! I received an email the other day entitled "What Loves Means"; it was different quotes that children said about love.

Here are my new two favorite quotes:

1. "Love is what is in the room with you at Christmas when you stop opening presents and just listen." - Bobby, age 7

2. "Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you've left him alone all day." - Mary Ann, age 4

I would love this bracelet stamped with the lyrics to a song that reminds me of what my faith can do:

"I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do" ~ Kutless

My son was born with severe medical problems and we have been through so much with him. If I didn't have my faith there is no way I woudl have been able tops survive any of the things we have watched him endure.

Faith can do anything....including making broken hearts brand new.

The quote I would love comes from the movie Hope Floats but I am pretty sure it is too long, but here it is anyway:

Childhood is what you spend the rest of your life trying to overcome. That's what momma always says. She says that beginnings are scary, endings are usually sad, but it's the middle that counts the most. Try to remember that when you find yourself at a new beginning. Just give hope a chance to float up. And it will, too...

"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around." -- Leo Buscaglia

maybe even something very simple....

Priceless (just because it is my fav word)

Pay It Forward (one of my FAV movies and something I try to do at least once each week)

Or... something that I tell my dh ...

I can't imagine my life without you.

I am trying to figure out what one to put here. One is PS 20:24 - Since the Lord is directing our steps, why try to understand everything that happens along the way? or When God is involved anything can happen. Be open. Stay that way. I love this bracelet. It is so beautiful. I think I would put a reminder of my husband and mine's song from our wedding:

Jeff and Kim

And you would know you have my heart
If you could see, what i see
that a treasure's what you are
if you could see, what i see
Created to be
the only one for me
If you could see, what i see

or maybe this part of the song:

You're created to be
The perfect one for me
If you could see
What i see

This is such a wonderful reminder in these words of who God created my husband to be for me. I have always treasured him. What a blessing to have a reminder to wear on a bracelet.

Thanks for creating such beautiful and touching jewelry!

Yours was the first one I came to. I am SO glad I did. This post is exactly what I needed. Whether I win the bracelet or not. I am So glad I came here. You see, your beautiful bracelet is truly amazing and suddenly so inspirational to me. As soon as I saw it, I remembered a quote that my son had submitted for his high school year book last year. I immediately went searching for it. Now I have it again. And my heart suddenly doesn't feel so heavy anymore. I know what direction I need to take now. I am at ease.

I know what I would put on that bracelet for sure. I need to have it close by always as a reminder.

This is gorgeous! I love chunky jewelry! It's hard to come up with just 1 verse or thought to put on the bracelet...my mind is racing through many events & obstacles in our lives where God was so faithful - He never let us down, always met our needs, wiped our tears & blessed us with a beautiful little girl that we adopted when she was just weeks old. I learned so much through that waiting room (11 years) experience...but the most important thing I learned & still remember is found in

Mark 12:30 - Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, with all your strength.

I am a huge Gilmore Girls fan, so I'd love any number of quotes from that show, but for sure either

Rory: I need a favor.
Lorelei: Let me get out my list....I'll write it under the one that says "gave me life".

or any number of others, I got so distracted reading them I almost forgot why I was looking at them! Ha!

This is probably too long, but I LOVE this:

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
~ Kahlil Gibran

Such a beautiful perspective on parenting! Could it be condensed somehow?

I am leaning toward Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the LORD has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Some days really are better than others, and a reminder of WHO is in charge and has made the day for His glory can have such a profound effect on one's attitude. ;)

Thank you!

i have to say...it's been a horrific summer for my family. We lost 4 family members in 4 months... one of which was my 5-yr old(one of twins)nephew. So if i won, i would do something to honor my lil' Andrew... either his name with the nickname i gave him (Lil' Old Man Turtle-OMT), or perhaps his name & the scripture I read at his funeral- Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit, or his name and "may he carry us on his wings" with a heart - as that's our thing. Something to just see and "be" with Andrew in spirit. Seeing your heart charm attached to the bracelet made my heart skip a beat... We feel he's been leaving "hearts" in odd places for us and here was another one! So even if i don't win - i still got a little gift through your bracelet. :)

Oh my gosh! This bracelet is beautiful!

I would love to win this! My choice for this would be to have Isaiah 40:31 stamped. "But they that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings as eagle. Run and not grow weary. Walk and not be faint."

This verse has so much power in my life. It has helped me overcome my parents divorce when I was 12, life struggles in my teens and early 20's. In the past 5 years it has given me strength to go through 3 years of infertility, and 3 miscarriages. Without my faith I am nothing. I don't know how I would have been able to overcome the obstacles in my life if it wasn't for the Word of God. I would love this bracelet to be a piece of jewlery that becomes and heirloom. Something that I pass down to my daughter in hopes that this same verse helps her through life.

Thank you for your giveaways! You can put a smile on my face so fast when I open your blog and see GIVEAWAY! Whoo-Hoo!!

"...And may we be ever mindful of the needs of others."
The latter is what my dear (late) paternal Grandfather would say at the end of family prayers. A sweet reminder and a great way to honor a dear, sorely missed man.
