Since my little girl isn't old enough to be a dancer yet, I would give it to my friend. Her little girl is a dancer. In fact, she got ready at our house for her recital about a month ago and was so pretty, and she felt pretty!

My 2nd born daughter, five years old, would make this necklace sparkle just like she does :) One of her favorite books is "The Silver Slippers" by Elizabeth Koda-Callan where the little girl receives a necklace that gives her confidence to be the prima ballerina. We just moved states and my almost 6 year old daughter has been having a really hard time with the move. We got her a dance class as a Christmas gift to help her meet new friends and she loves it so much. This would be PERFECT!

My little one put her "big girl panties" on and didn't let that bother her that she couldn't take dance lessons anymore. She still dances and floats around.... finding fun wherever she goes. LOVE IT! I would give this necklace to my daughter, Avery. She's just shy of two years old and loves to dance. She has ballet shoes and loves to pretend that she is a ballerina. She has asked to be in dance classes and we promised her that when she's a little older she can take ballet. I would hold on to the necklace until she's a little older and (per your suggestion) probably give it to her at her first recital. How fun!

I would give it to my niece Kristin. Her BFF was a dancer. Danielle studied dancing after high school. She was a great dancer, but she sadly died of leukemia a couple of months ago. My niece is sick too, and losing her soul sister has been really hard for her. I know it would mean a lot to her to have a reminder of Danielle that she could wear.

I would give this to a little 3 year old girl in our community who has been recovering from a terrible accident, burns over 30% of her body including face and head. She is an aspiring dancer and has to sit on the sidelines while she continues the healing process. I do not know her family personally, just through others in the community. Her big sister would likely be a good candidate too!

I would give the necklace to my niece. She was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsey due to oxygen deprivation at birth. She amazes us with how hard she works and what she has a achieved . She loves to dance and this past September she began taking dance classes with an organization called Dancing Dreams. Dancing Dreams gives dance class to physically challenged kids.

She is going to be graduating college this April with her first degree, and has decided to follow her dream and return to school to now earn another degree in Dance. My oldest child is now 4 years old. She is in her third year of dance lessons. She literally started when she was in diapers. If I do say so myself, she was THE cutest little Peppermint Twister up on that stage twisting away just like the big girls in her first recital. This year, she is taking hip hop to change it up a bit. However, she was totally bummed to find out that the dress was not sweet little tutus, ballet slippers, and perfectly done hair. So, she just wears that at home now.
