I absolutely love this piece. While I have two little girls (and a little boy as well!), neither of my daughters are into ballet just yet. However, my very best friend (since the first grade--we're both thirty now) took ballet for years and recently started lessons again. I would give it to her in celebration of her renewed love affair with dance.

I would give this to my MOM! yes she had dance ballet her whole life until she was 35, then after my dad died she put everything in a box and has never dance again, I think she miss my dad so much,my dad was with her in every dance, I think by giving her this cute necklace from you guys will make her happy and i know that she might dance again in the nutt cracket like she did years ago, or at least will put a big smile in her face... So beautiful! My sister just retired from the Boston Ballet and her 3 year-old niece {our peanut} is following in her tippy toe steps. I'd give this to my little one for her first ballet recital coming up in April....not sure how it will go since her biggest concern is what costume mommy is going to wear on stage. Ha!
my daughters best friend is a ballerina and would LOVE this! she is a unique, spunky, sweet girl, who is just brimming with life despite her multiple open-heart surgeries (close to a dozen, if i remember correctly -- including a transplant) in her 10 years of life. she is doing great and is living her ballet-lovin' life to the full!
