My soon-to-be ex sister-in-law (whom I love like a sister) and I are taking the kids on a cruise to Cabo. She's been going thru a divorce for 4 LONG years & is finally taking the kids on a vacation, and I'm joining her with my daughter!! The cousins will have so much fun together - a trip they will remember for a LIFETIME! Us moms plan on having a great time too!!!

I don't have spring break yet, but when I do, I have a few ideas in mind...
1. Going for LONG walks with my camera, and capturing the beauty around me!

2. Laying out on the hot cement, and holding back giggles as the amish children walk back laughing at me! =P

3. Watch some old movies! Audrey Hepburn! =D

4. Play the piano and sing incredibly out of tune...because I'm gifted like that. =P

5. Go to the movies with my older sister and best friend, and treat them all! My birthday gift to them!(even though its my birthday!=P)

6. Since it's been raining, I want to dance in the freezing rain, and than take a really warm shower, snuggle up with a warm blanket, and read a book, or watch a movie. =)

Those are a few ideas I have going on . = )

Since we are expecting a baby in just 3 weeks, for Spring Break, we are not going anywhere special. Instead we are doing "Spring Training". The kids are learning how to do things around the house and earning money at the same time. Example: how to use the washing machine-each load is worth 25 cents. How to clean mirrors, each mirror is worth 50 cents. And so on. They are excited and also able to earn money and help me at the same time.

I love the names around my heart necklace. So cute. Would make a great gift since our 5th and final is almost here.

Hey! I live just 5 miles down the road from Sea World SA! :) We were there on Saturday since my little man is finally tall enough to ride "journey to atlantis." So, for something FUN...the grandparents are coming! Yay! They live a whopping 26 hr drive away so we don't see them often enough. Having them here means free babysitting and a couple of date nights for hubby & me!!! Woohoooo!!! :)

Just got back from our spring break. Hubby and I packed up the truck, along with our basset hound and headed a few hours north to a cabin--where it rained the entire time...had a fire in the fire place and hung out in the hot tub. No internet. No phone. It was absolutely marvelous. Trying desperately to get back into the real world today!

Spring break isn't for a few more weeks for us but I cannot wait! My 6th anniversary is the first Saturday of break so hopefully my hubby & I'll be doing something special. Then our plan is to take the kids to this indoor waterpark resort about 2 hours from home and stay for a few nights. It's SO much fun and the kids LOVE it! The rest of the week will be spent basking in my children's glow as we get ready for the last few weeks of school and when we all get to stay home and hang out all summer!

Enjoy your break!

What I WISH we could do for our Spring Break is take a vacation to St. Louis (where we lived for Seminary from '04-'07) to visit family and friends one last time before baby #4 arrives.
We tend to spend all of our vacations visiting/being with friends/family because, well, its cheaper and more importantly its always a soul-refreshing time!

We have recently moved back to Texas after living in Ohio for 5 long years. Although we loved the change of seasons, we sure missed home. One tradition we have during spring break each year is a drive to the hill country of Texas to take pictures of our daughter in a field of blue bonnets. We missed only the five years we we were gone but now that we are back, we are planning on heading out to get pictures of our girl (14 yrs old now) in the beautiful blue bonnets. I know it's not that exciting but it means the world to us. Hope you have a wonderful spring break. ~nJOY!

My spring break started off with the awesome time of caring for my niece and nephews. Their mom and dad needed a nice weekend away (first one in 6 years). We went bowling, to the zoo, made chocolate chip cookies, ate donuts at the best little shop with the cutest little donuts, and had a great time cuddling with lots of stories. That was the best way to start since I have school work to do now... family is just wonderful.

This Spring break, I have planned a surprise trip to Las Vegas for my Hubby's 30th birthday. I called his boss and arranged some well needed time off for him. It will be hard because it is the very first time leaving our little girl but, we are in need of some Mommy and Daddy time. He has absolutly no idea. I'm telling him the day we leave which is April Fools Day so he totally isn't going to beleive me! I'm so excited. That is what we have planned for spring break ;)

P.S. i ADORE your blog. You're all so talented!!!

Ok, so perhaps not the most creative to the mommies of the world, but I am letting my little girl decide what she wants to do everyday! I've given her the reigns and whatever/wherever she wants to go...we're there! Of course this is within reason, but so far she's picked the park, going to my school to play teacher (I teach), and Chick-Fil-A! All things I can do....she told me tonight that this was the best Spring Break ever because she was the planner!

My husband had his spring break 2 weeks ago, kind of early huh? As a mother of one 16 month old crazy boy and little girl arriving in 3 weeks, my time is consumed. Since my husband is in Dental school, I literally don't ever see him, which makes me feel like a single mother most of the time. His spring break was, well such a break! It was the most wonderful time I have had in months. (Maybe this is contributed to the fact I am about to pop). We spent a full week as a family, playing, talking, giggling, all the things I've missed these last two years of his schooling. My husband was such an awesome daddy while he was home that my son now runs to him for comfort! I would have to say, best spring break ever! Now it's time to prepare for our second child! Eeeek!

My Siblings'll be quite happy
If I take a little break
From all my studyin' and learnin'
To help them bake a cake.

So when my spring break rolls
around;
I'll have lots and lots to do
With everything so busy
My baby sister will but "coo".

But by the time it's over
I'll truly wonder why
The name for it is 'Spring Break';
Instead of 'extra laundry piled
high'!

Thanks for doing this great givaway!
