what are you thankful for?

Caleb, age 8: "for having a family that loves me and a God that is true."

Jonah, age 6: "my family, my uncles and my baby sister."

Tessa, age 4: "for God and all of the blessings He gives us. And my pets."

Hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving!!!

Oh, I am thankful for so much! I am thankful that God has blessed me with an amazing family...parents that exhibit what it means to be a strong, Christian couple daily...and a sister who is my best friend.

I am thankful that my parents provided me with a Christian education from kindergarten right on up through high school - what a BLESSING! And, I am so thankful that I am able to work in the same Christian school where I went. I cannot express how much I love being with the kids each day.

I am thankful to live in America - although I am not at all pleased with the current administration, I am constantly reminded that there *are* plenty of people in this great country who also share my belief that this is first & foremost a country under God. These are the people that truly bring me "hope" ;)

I am so, so thankful for our troops. Now that my dad is going to be retiring from the Army at the end of this year after 29 years of service - I must say that I view our servicemen as the most honorable people. What true dedication they all have to protecting and defending us.

Caleb - you are so right! Isn't it wonderful to have a "God that is TRUE" ?! :)

Jonah - what a sweet big brother to love your little sis so much :)

Tessa - God's blessings are so abundant...you are right! ...and, I must say that I am thankful love my puppy & kitty too :)

I hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving!

What a sweet post! Little kids are so cute and honest. My four year old daughter made us go around and around and around saying what we are thankful for on Thanksgiving. It was so sweet. Hope yours was happy!

I am thankful for the 40 years I had with my sister. I am thankful she is out of pain and at peace. I am thankful for the journey of life and death and rebirth...and I am thankful for your talent. I ordered my mom a necklace to help her remember.. missed the Christmas deadline, but I know she will love it and cherish it whenever it arrives, because we will hold my sister in our hearts forever.
