creative estates.

I had a great time at Creative Estates-
although I have to admit-
conferences are tough for me, I'm naturally fairly shy and quiet :)

But I met old friends (like Megan, and Erin,
and new friends (like Kim, Amy and Becca)
(among many others!)
got inspired,
heard fab advice from amazing women,
ate great food (and yummy cupcakes!),
and laughed A LOT.

I spoke on a panel with Ashley (of Lil Boo Blue), Kim (of The TomKat Studio) and Shey (Shey B) about turning a hobby into a business.

Wendy, Jen and Heather (below)
are old eBay friends from the Jaynes group I was in-
I ran into them on the way to registration and they quickly became bff's.
They took a break from blogging and are hopping back in,
they are hilarious, creative and full of talent-
you should definitely follow them on their new journeys,
I think it's going to be a fun ride :)

Shey and Tauni did such a great job,
and I'm excited to head back next year!

You did a fantastic job! I truly learned from you and I respect your prioritizing your family above your business. I am naturally an introvert too, and it was tough for me as well. I'm so glad you can to spoke and can't wait for next year's conference!

Oh, don't we look cute? We should color coordinate our outfits more often!
So, so great meeting you in person. :)

Erin, Erin, Erin. Wow. Words cannot express how amazed I am by you! I mean, I was impressed before I met you, but now?

First, you provided such lovely gifts for each of our attendees. I have literally worn my necklace every day since the moment I received it. THANK YOU.

Second, I cannot believe what a humble, yet inspiring, person you are. You are a true example of how any "big time" handmade business owner and/or blogger should be!

I am grateful to have met you and I hope we can stay in touch!

It was so great to finally meet you. I too am naturally shy and on the quiet side especially in large groups. But I really enjoyed talking with you and getting to know you. I really wish I would have been able to attend your class, too bad we were both speaking at the same time :( I love your jewelry and am so inspired at the way you have built a business and manage it and your family so well! Thanks Erin!!
