pottery barn. {swoon}

I'm swooning over the latest Pottery Barn catalog,
it's full of eye candy
and even some inspiration!

I will have to make some easter eggs like this with the kids
(looks so fun!)

Loving all of the twinking lights...

and I think these birdies would look cute hanging in our store,
don'tcha think?

they go with this shabby birdhouse...

and these lanterns...

These chairs are gorgeous,
especially the aqua (but the red would work too)...

I like the idea of hanging pictures like this...

I. want. little cubbies. just like this:

Thinking of painting the back studio this blue color...

Even glasses in the perfect blue!

How sweet is this jewelry stand?

LOVE this mirror with all my heart...

over this bed set...

My birthday IS in a couple of weeks...

just sayin'.

:)

Do you have a favorite store that makes you swoon?

i'm not a diy-er....so take that into account as i say this: but several of those projects look like something that someone w/ the creative mind you have could easily accomplish! at least the chair & mirror.

but like i said, i'd be the girl buying it outright or just continuing to swoon, as i have no skills.

beautiful stuff though, it's as though they targeted your store directly!

I just got this catalog too and was showing Dusty all of the stuff I liked. It was pretty much the whole book :) The lottery is up to over 200 million...just sayin.

I will take one of each!!
It looks like some of the things in the pictures you could actually do yourself...the eggs, the birdhouse...and I think the Lights would look beautiful in your store!! Happy shopping or crafting!

I'm not really a house decorator (and you can tell by taking a walk around our house). But I love clothes and shoes! I swoon over Banana Republic, J. Crew, and DSW!!

Did you see that Roeshel over at DIY Showoff actually did her own version of your first photo? She posted it this morning:

I have to say it; I can't hold it in. You could MAKE those cubbies for far less than PB sells them. If you haven't checked out Ana White, DO SO! She gets a lot of her inspiration from PB, but gives you step-by-step instructions that ANYONE could follow and you end up with your own PB-esque furniture without having paid the heavy price tag. She puts all of her plans up on her website for free! My husband and I have made a coffee table (designed our own end tables to match) and made our dining room table and chairs and have a LONG laundry list on our "To Do" page! http://dev.ana-white.com/ This way you have that adorable cubbie set, but you made it yourself!!! Just a thought! :)

And this is probably going to sound REALLY corny, but the store that makes me swoon, is .... Lowes. Yeah, I know. Weird. But I LOVE it!!! So many ideas. So much wood. So many projects! Okay, I'm done now. Really.

Erin, it's so funny that you loved that Easter Egg Tree idea, because I did, too. I folded that page down in my PB catalog so quickly! Did you see this today, too? http://thediyshowoff.blogspot.com/2011/03/pb-inspired-easter-decor.html Roeshel did a great job making her own!

I have also been pining for that bird jewlery holder! I'm keeping an eye on it, and if it goes on any kind of sale, I'm snagging it up! Love it!

I love all things with birds on it, but then I saw this funny video with Fred Armisen from SNL, and now I can't see birds in the same way. :)

I love, love, love Pottery Barn! I constantly flip through the pages and imagine how I would recreate my rooms. Sadly, my budget limits me to imaginary shopping sprees and DIY projects.

Your post has inspired me: Time to go find the staple gun and finish upholstering the settee I started last summer...
