savoring the small stuff.

Eden is caught in between being a
"big girl"
and a baby...

("big girls" don't use paci's, "babies" do)

most of the time she delights in
the praises of being a "big girl"...
(especially getting to sleep in her "big girl" bed)

until she's gone long enough without it,
and decides it's not worth it,
and wants the comfort of her paci...

then she looks at me and simply says
"I'm a baby."

which means:
"give me my paci."

It'll happen someday,
we'll eventually make it a whole day without the paci,
but since she's our fourth
and our last,
I want to savor her little-ness,
I'm not in any huge hurry
for her to be a "big girl".

We all need a paci sometime - I'll be the first to admit it. You have an adorable fam!

We are in exactly the same boat in our household. And she is third and most likely our last little one so she gets to have her paci a bit longer then the others.... She tells me the smae thing" i am a baby" whenshe want it.... Oh my lol

reminds me of one of my fave quotes..."enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.." enjoy your baby/big girl:)

One day is good enough! You will get there! Enjoy her while you can, she will be 'big' in the blink of an eye! My only girl is already 14!
