After Tessa's birthday party yesterday,
Ryan got a wild hair to take the kids
on a helicopter ride!
There's a company that gives helicopter rides
from a field here in town...
The kids LOVED it,
they saw their house and the City Plex towers and even Wal-Mart,
it was fun to see our town from up high!
(Eden refused to go,
she kept saying that she was "too big" for the "elicopper",
maybe next time.)
Love doing spontaneous stuff with the kids!
(Especially when they love it and beg to go again!)
What's the last spontaneous thing you've done with your kids?

what fun!! ... that's definitely something that you can't just do anyday!
That's a pretty sweet gift! Hard to top that one next year!
My husband would LOVE to do this...we will wait until our son is a few years older though!
We haven't done anything too spontaneous lately...but this is inspiring! (as many of your posts are!)
WOW how adventurous! I don't have kids...but I have a dog and I took her to the beach once ;)
I know, it's not the same hehe!
Awesome!! Flying in a helicopter is so much fun!!
Wow, how cool! The photos are amazing.
We've never done anything that spontaneous...just usually an impromptu day trip is all we've done.
Thanks for sharing the adventure.
