We're celebrating with
birthday waffles with sprinkles for breakfast
a few special presents
chocolate cupcakes with pink icing at school
lunch with daddy
her favorite spaghetti with meatballs for dinner
and a surprise show tonight (Veggie Tales Live!)

It was a surprise when we found out we were pregnant with Tessa,
and I cried a bit- Caleb was 2 1/2 and Jonah wasn't even 1 year yet- and
then cried tears of joy when the ultrasound tech said she was a girl :)
And then I purged on PINK.

So my Dad took Tessa shopping for a gift
and to my disbelief
they returned with...
DRUMS!!!
Pink drums, actually...
So you can imagine what my house sounds like these days.
Um, thanks Dad.

Happy Birthday to her! Don't you love it when family gives you noisy gifts? ;) I had a similar experience with the surprise of #3, only my girls were 15 months and 3 months old!!!! But we got a boy and were over the moon anyway. :)

Oh my goodness...I laughed a little when I saw the drums! My sister always thought that would make a great gift but I told her no toys that make noise. lol

What a great day....and what to say about those drums...
Our daughters share a birthday, only my baby is 19, celebrating her birthday away at college! Thank goodness for Skype and the postal service for sending tons of packages!!!
Enjoy the drums, for all to soon it will be too quiet around the house!
