Currently he is deployed and we will not see him again until the beginning of February. It just breaks his heart (and mine) to not be able to hold his son, read to him, play cars, etc. But I cannot wait for the celebration when he returns and our little family is complete again.
My husband is the best and I was reminded of that this morning. I had to drop our dog off at the vet for surgery and it was all I could do to hold back the tears until I made it back home. I felt so silly for being so upset but he just held me until I couldn't cry anymore and had nothing but kind and loving things to say. He is always supportive and no matter how much time has gone by, he never stops being my best friend.
My husband is amazing! We are celebrating 6 years of marriage tomorrow. We have been through 4 years of IF and 2 miscarriages and through it all he was my rock. It was the lowest point in my life and he never left my side and always lifted me up! We started the adoption process last Nov and in May our sweet little man was born and He has been the most amazing daddy to him. I can't wait to see what the future holds for our sweet family of 4 (our schnauzer sadie makes 4!)
My hubby is awesome. I've always known that. What really proved it to everyone around me was when I had my son. A little background...we had struggled with infertility for 3 years. We finally conceived a baby via In-Vitro fertilization. 9 months passed and it was time to have a baby! We were so happy. I had to have a c-section and once I was released from the hospital my blood pressure was super high. I'm talking 190's/120's. I had to be hospitalized and medicated because I was seriously close to having a stroke or a seizure. My husband slept on a hospital couch in my room with me every night. (those things are not comfortable!!!) He was there whenever I needed him, and even though he now tells me he was scared I was going to die he did not once let me see his fear. He was my strength. For two weeks he spent every waking moment with me at the hospital. When I would go to sleep he'd drive 30 miles to go spend time with our son and grab a little sleep on my mom's couch. He also shuttled breastmilk back and forth so that my son could build his immunities even though he couldn't be with mom. All the nurses in the hospital told me how blessed I was and that they don't see many young men so involved. I don't know what I would have done without my husband. I could not have asked for a better support system through the hardest times in my life. I am so thankful that God gave me this man who is a wonderful husband and father
I ♥ my sweet hubby! He works so diligently to provide the best he can for us and he wants to be with us (we have 4 littles w/ 1 on the way)every spare moment he has. He loves to take the children on errands and teach them everything he knows. We think he is the best! :)
i also have 4 kids ages 9, 7, 2, newborn. i finally had a girl's night scheduled and it happened to fall on a baseball game night. instead of making me stay home to help get everyone where they needed to be, he told me to go and he would handle it. so, without complaining, he carted all 4 kids to the ball field all alone and survived it!!! which means he will hopefully do it again soon ;) i have the best, most helpful hubby ever!!! and i love him dearly!
My husband is the best! He is such a great day as well. In the winter time, his job is a little slower, so he works a second job at night 5 days a week to make sure we have enough to get by! He is always thinking of me and doing things to make my life easier. In June, I had to have back surgery and was out of work for almost 2 months, unable to do anything. He took care of our 2 year old son, along with cooking dinner every night and cleaning the house, doing laundry. He was basically a single dad. As I continue to heal, he still does things around the house so I don't have to worry about it. He is so selfless and never worries about himself - he is always thinking of others. I love him so much and wouldn't be who I am today without him to support me!
My husband should DEFINITELY win. He gave up his job two years ago to be a stay-at-home dad to our two boys (8 years and 2 years). He cooks dinner, keeps the house clean and makes all of our lives so much easier and better. He never complains (something I never could do when I stayed home).
I am so blessed to have met him and have him in my life. He's my best friend and a terrific dad to our two boys.
I cold go on and on about my hubby & how amazing he is. He just finished 15 years of post graduate schooling to become a head & neck cancer surgeon. I am so, so proud of him. He could have gone into a more lucrative specialty, but he chose this one because he truly wants to help these people that have no one else to turn to. Talk about having a lot of pressure on your shoulders. He works insane hours yet always makes time for our three beautiful daughters. He is a fantastic father to our girls & they just think the world of their daddy. And he is a wonderful husband. Always doing little things to let me know he's always thinking of me. I hit the jackpot in the hubby department and my girls couldn't have a better daddy.
I am going to a time out for women conference and am leaving tonight(Thursday)and will return Sunday evening and my sweet hubby is watching all four kiddos. He never complains when I want to go out and have me time. Love that guy!!
The Lazy Dad is a great Best Hubby Nominee because when he does something, he does it with all his heart. His passion for God and life overflows in his Pastoring, his fathering, his husbanding and everything else that I can think of that ends in "ing."
The End.

My husband is great! I'm a stay at home mom but I can never get everything done. When he's home he helps clean, he does dishes, he helps me with laundry late at night after the kids are in bed. And he's the best dad in the world! I love my husband!
Ohh my hubs is the Best because he never wants to change me and just takes me as I am.
Oh and *looks sheepishly* he bought me an iPad because he simply knew how much fun I would have with it!!!
My hubby is the best bc he has taken on having to help raise a daughter that isn't his own (by blood) since she was 3. He does everything he can for her, including covering her on HIS insurance since her dad picks such crappy insurance that doesn't cover much. He never asks for anything in return. And he loves her, just as if she is his. He has always gone to her school stuff, daycare parties, class parties, meet the teacher nights, anything he can! It is the best knowing my daughter has an amazing man like him in her life.
My sweet husband had the "opportunity" this summer to stay at home full time with our now-8-months-old son. It was a tough transition from me working full time to staying at home, and him staying at home to working full time. What a guy, to stay with the baby, clean the house, run errands, and do laundry so I could spend time with our son when I was at home. He is such a blessing to me! I am sure glad he's mine! :)
Just last night my hubby, Mike, came home after working a 12+ hour day to find both our kids crying at the dinner table. He quickly saw that I was on the edge of sanity, and sent me up to our bedroom for a few quiet minutes alone. He handled the crying kids, fed them dinner, and cleaned up the kitchen during my "time out." I love that guy!!!
I am so blessed to have been given such a wonderful and supportive husband. He's the one who makes me feel comfortable to just be who I am, and he encourages me to pursue my Jesus above all. There is no other person in this world that I can be completely transparent with and know that he will be there for me no matter what... my faithful pursuer and best friend. I love him and am so thankful! :]
I love it when my hubby surprises me by doing things I wouldn't expect him too. Like the time when I worked on Saturday and when I came home and he had cleaned the entire house. Or when he sent a dozen red roses and balloons to my work for my birthday when we normally don't get each other anything.
I love bragging on my hubby, what a great idea! Matt and I have been together for 10 years (high school sweethearts) and he continues to amaze & inspire me. He has stood by me when I've been at my lowest, celebrated with me, prayed over me, and walked beside me through more experiences that I could possibly describe in one post. He encourages me to grow closer to God and supports me in everything that I do. He is my biggest cheerleader and best friend - I can't imagine a day without him.
Oh and did I mention that he cooks like a gourmet chef, does laundry, takes care of the yardwork, and makes me laugh? He's better than Nutella and pumpkin spice lattes, and I love him :D
My hubby is great! He's the type who shows his love by doing things for us. I haven't had to clean the bathroom in 13 years :) He also does things for my parents like refinishing a bedroom for them or setting up their swimming pool. He's a do-er. And a keeper!!
My husband is the best! He is a farmer and he has to work long hours especially this time of year. But even though he is working a lot, he still does little things to let me and the girls know we are special and important we are to him. He has the best attitude and is the most patient person I have ever met. I love you Chad!

Suppose this blog I did a few months ago pretty much sums HIM (my husband) up. He's a hard worker...loves his kids more than anything and does everything he can to provide for our family. All that makes a pretty good guy. He gives his all to his job so that we may have everything we have and still the kind of dad that coaches our son's baseball team and always goes to anything relating to our kids!
My husband is one of a kind and the absolute best! For starters he is the most selfless man ever. He was set to move back home to Brazil shortly after we met 7 years ago. Not only did stay for me but he made the biggest sacrifice with all of his family in Brazil. I was important enough to him to give up being close to them and for that I will forever be indebted to him. He is the best dad ever. When we decided to start a family our idea of having a baby turned into BABIES quickly. When we found out we were having twins I was so worried and he instantly was excited and dreaming about all the fun things we'd do. He always sees the best in everything and everyone and he can light up any room. He's constantly the center of attention and making me laugh. He makes me feel like a school girl and I love him more today than I did even on our wedding day!! By the way we're super excited to go visit that family of ours in Brazil in 3 short months!!
I love the timing of this. My husband turns 36 on Saturday and I am making a list of 36 reasons why I love and appreciate him. I am feeling especially blessed right now because he is sending me to the Relevant Blogger Conference next week in PA. My husband has made it possible for me to go and has made arrangements to work from home the 5 days I am gone and get our kids to school and soccer and take care of the things I normally do, while I am gone. I believe my husband deserves the best hubbie award because of the way he supports and encourages me to follow my dreams, and he believes in me so much that when things like this come up he makes sure I can go. And, he cheerfully does what it takes to keep things running smoothly while I am gone. I couldn’t ask for a more wonderful husband, I love him so much!!
Thanks for the opportunity to share and lift up my guy!!
Laying in bed last night, I realized how amazing my husband is. He is all of the things that most women boast about - an incredible dad, a hard worker, a man of integrity who has overcome a lot in his life and a fantastic, loving husband. However, last night, after car troubles, worries about finances, a burnt dinner, fussy kids, and generally the kind of day you don't want to repeat, I laid in bed next to him and realized how strong our marriage is. We have vowed to always fight FOR one another, to always face things together and to never cut one another down, no matter the circumstances. We've gone through tragedy and trials, but our marriage has only gotten stronger and I am blessed far more than I deserve to be married to someone who truly vowed to honor me and protect me - and being married to him is humbling.
My hubbie should win b/c he can ALWAYS make me laugh and ALWAYS tells me I look pretty. Plus he works really hard. And looks really good in a tie. And is a good, God-loving man!
My husband definitely deserves the Best Hubbie Award! Last night, he came home with "just because" roses. He always tells me how beautiful I am and how much he loves me. He cooks for us every night. He's incredibly handsome and thoughtful. But, above all that, I'm most in love with how amazing a father he is!
When I wake my husband in the morning, he tells me he loves me. He tells me he loves me throughout the day. On car trips, he'll skritch my knee or thigh just because. He is my best friend, my biggest supporter, and the greatest love I've ever known. We geek out together regularly! For example, I had a really odd sense of foreboding for some reason. I told him about it. He asked what I meant, and I told limit was like Obi Wan felt when Alderaan was destroyed, and he knew exactly what I meant.
My sweet Brad is so good to me - he loves and supports me through all my imperfections and encourages me to be the best me I can be. He loves our children beautifully and delights in the time we get to spend together as a family. He supports me day in and out in our business - now that our schedule has changed a good bit due to running with our biz full-time, he's quick to take the kids with him to run errands so I can have some uninterrupted time to work...he jumps in and helps wherever I need him if I'm feeling stressed or overwhelmed. And best of all...we get to dream about our life together and then work to reach those dreams. I couldn't ask for a better husband!
I'm not going to pass up an opportunity to tell the world how wonderful my hubs is! Lately, our marriage has been tested to the limit. We have a little girl who has some learning disabilities and is very tough to deal with at times. Dealing with her, and learning how to parent her has been tough on the both of us. We have fought a LOT, because we haven't been able to meet in the middle on how to take care of some situations. Well, to make up for it, my sweet Hubby took the time to tell me how much he appreciated all I do for her and our little family. He even did the chores {dishes, laundry, making dinner, and vacuuming} and took care of both kids to give me a little break. That spoke VOLUMES to me! He is my best friend, and although times get tough, I couldn't make it through this life without him!!!
Where to begin to describe my wonderful man? Equal parts servant, encourager, fun-meister, and friend. A loving husband and father who is always active, engaged, and up-beat.
Right now I am working furiously getting ready to participate in a local craft show with my knitted designs and often, after dinner, he will say, "You go knit and be creative. I know how to wash dishes." What a guy!
We celebrate our 29th anniversary on the 25th of this month. I am so blessed!
My husband sold his vending business to marry me! We slowly have built back the business over the past five years. I know it sounds strange, someone selling their livlyhood to get married, but God has blessed us with a more sucessful business now than when we met. We can now better serve others for Him, than we could before. I can honestly say, a lot of gumballs paid for our wedding!

My husband is a winner in my eyes. I am 38 weeks pregnant with baby #4 and the house is always being taken care of. My sweet man scrubbed the entire kitchen! Oven, dishwasher, microwave-you name it! He weekly scrubs the bathrooms and washes the cars. AND if he is home when the kids go to bed, he will put them to bed for me. Seriously, I wish I could be more like him.
My husban is the best beccause he works 2 job. he works at a movie thearty at night and get home at 2 in the moring and then he has to get up at 6 am with the kids because i work too. on his days off he has another job and works late too. he all ways keeps the house clean and me going . he dose so much for the family. we just baought our house and he all ways keep me happy.
My hubby is the best, beacause when my mom was really sick and needed to be driven all over he was laid-off he took her to all her appointments without one complaint. He has always been there for and our kids and is my best friend, he totally understands when I watch a show and randomly cry b/c it reminds me of my mom and will change the channel or just give a comforting smile. I LOVE him more each day and am excited that I will spend the rest of my life with him.
I don't think my husband gets enough credit for everything he does for me. But the main reason that I think he is the greatest is because not only does he take care of me, but he takes care of my mom as well.
We got married in the summer of 2005, after 8 years together. Just two short months after we got married, my dad suffered a brain hemmorage while out of town on a business trip. He was in a coma for about four months before passing away at the age of 59.
Since my dad passed away, my husband has to be the husband for both of us. My mom lives six hours away but my husband will drive there with me to do the things my dad used to do for my mom. Just a few weekends ago, he installed a new sump pump, cleaned her gutters, trimmed trees, patched some holes in the siding, hung new blinds, and did some light plumbing. He didn't ask for all of this extra work when he married me, but he does it because he loves me and my mom. He does it without complaining and then he comes back to our house and does all of our house chores as well.
I think he deserves the best hubby award!
My husband of nine years is wonderful. We've been through a lot and he is always very supportive of me and our three boys. It's been a roller coaster of good and bad, but the one constant is the support I get from him.
My husband and I are just about to celebrate our third anniversary!! I know its nothing compared to some but I have been so grateful to have him in my life. He is in his 8th year of school and is always busy with schoolwork, yet he is always able to take the time to help out with chores around the home. Lots of husbands won't do any cleaning, but mine does!! I love how he is always willing to do the dishes or clean the bathroom(I have NEVER had to clean the bathroom since we have been married). I am so so soooo blessed to have him (for more reasons that him doing my chores, hehe)
I think my husband is the best because he always knows how to make me laugh and takes care of me. He is a great provider for our family. We just love having fun together!

We have been trying to have a baby for over 6 years. Jason has been so supportive through the 2 surgeries, one negative result and now positive result. Sine getting pregnant I haven't had an easy pregnancy and he always thanks me for what I'm going through, holds my hair when I'm throwing up, calls and checks on me every hour I could go on and on. I thank God every day for these blessings. I love you bebe!
What an awesome idea Erin!
After working a long 12 hour shift as a State Trooper my hubs got up after only 2 hours of sleep to help me out with our yard sale this past Saturday!
You have several great comments to choose from...good luck!
I am pregnant with our 2nd child and have been very, very sick. (I was sick my entire 1st pregnancy). We have a 3 year old and my husband has been doing EVERYTHING. He just started a new job but still gets our daughter dressed, fed, packs her lunch, and takes her to preschool. When he gets home after 6 pm, he cooks dinner, feeds her, bonds with her, bathes her, makes sure I have what I need (ice cold water, medication, snacks, barf bucket, pillows, etc), he reads to her and puts her to bed. THEN he does freelance work until late in the night and sleeps on the couch so I can sprawl out in bed. OH, AND he walks the dog and feeds her because I can't stand the smell of her or her food.
He's basically a single patent taking care of out daughter, our dog, and me!!!
He's amazing.
I love my super sweet, talented, smart, fun husband. We have a 15 month old daughter and he is the most wonderful father. He is attentive to both of us and helps out more around the house that I give him credit for. He cooks dinner every night while I get our daughter fed and ready for bed. Did I mention that he designed and built an addition on our house that doubled our square footage! What a sweetie! I don't see how it is possible, but I bet I'll love him more tomorrow than I do today.
well my hubby is alwayz here for his family and my family......he helps out with so much around the home is alway laughing i think is why he has a trillion friends he laughs at everything.....very out going might grumble alittle bout some things but he keeps it so mild that i only *think* i heard a grrr, right now i have been nagging for another boxer we lost ours 3 yr's ago and i miss her terribly but to no avail have i gotten a ok ok u win i get a we shall see but hey thats better then NO right? lol
My husband Aaron is an amazing husband and father. Aaron works so hard making it possible for me to be at home with our beautiful babies, Finley 2 and Ezra 1. He works nights often working from 2pm to 5am just to make ends meet. On weekends when he isn't working he lets me sleep in, cleans the house and makes a big breakfast all while managing two busy tots. He builds book cases, toy chests and art tables for the kids. Keeps up with the household chores and always makes sure I have time to myself from my busy and long days at home with the babes. He is loving, playful and romantic. I couldn't ask for a better husband or a better father for my children.
I have no shortage of appreciation for my hubby! He works two jobs (both as a firefighter/paramedic--one part time, one full time) to keep me a stay-at-home mom for our three kids, one of whom was born with special needs. He is the most "hands on" dad I know--the kids and I are his whole world and he lets us know it every single day. :)
One memory that really stands out, though, involves our older daughter's adoption from Guatemala (she's three now). Our agency had received incorrect information as when we were supposed to travel to meet (and subsequently return home with) our daughter. Long story short, there was a time crunch and I wasn't able to obtain my passport in time for the court date in GT. I was positively crushed, thinking this would delay our adoption for months. But his passport--from a trip in high school, oddly enough--was still valid, so he packed his bags and headed to Guatemala to bring home our nine month old baby girl--all by himself. He was the only single parent on the whole trip.
For his dedication to his children and our family, I couldn't be more appreciative of him if I tried. <3
Thanks for the chance to win!

Simply put...He has blessed me with four beautiful kids...and he supports me in staying home with them! Plus he just rocks my world with pretty much everything he does--cleaning, organizing, playing sports with the kids, success at his job...just to name a few! I am so glad God put us together!!!
My husband continues to amaze me! What I love most about him is his total committment to our family, which includes our 11 month old foster daughter. Since I was a little girl I've know that I wanted to adopt children, but I worried a bit about my future husband's feelings toward this. But, God, who placed those desires in my heart, blessed me with a husband who shares this vision with me! I am so thankful for him!
My husband is the Best Husband because...I had a horrific pregnancy with our only child. I spent the first 13 weeks vomiting around the clock and at 16 weeks, I had a partial placental abruption. I was on bedrest for 23 weeks to the day. My husband got up early everyday to make my breakfast before going to work. He would drive 15 miles home everyday at noon to make my lunch and take care of anything else I needed. Then he would come home in the evening and fix dinner, clean house, take care of the dogs, do laundry, mow the lawn etc. He took care of me and our home by himself for 6 whole months.
I was hospitalized too many times to count during this pregnancy, including an ambulance ride to a bigger hospital 2.5 hours away. He was by my side round-the-clock while I was hospitalized. It was a very scary time. We didn't know if our son would make it and I could have bled to death. My husband was my rock. I couldn't have done it without anyone else.
After our son was born, I had lost most of my muscle tone and could hardly stand and couldn't lift our son. My husband was home with us for 4 weeks and continued to take care of me and our newborn son. He is a saint!
I feel truly blessed to be married to my perfect guy. Not only is he my most favorite person in the world, but he's a wonderful father too! We're expecting our third child any day now and he has been great taking care of me these last few grueling weeks, cooking, cleaning, massaging, and taking our two older kids on special dates. 8 and a half years later, more in love than ever!
Where do I begin to tell you about my husband?... We have been through hell and back in each others arms, and that is where I plan to stay forever!
Chris is the man!
He has done so much for me and our little family! He lets me pursue my dreams and cheers me on! I have been a high school and college dance team coach since we were married and he has picked up my slack at home, come home early from work, taken care of the kids and put up with so much so that I could be successful!
He is the most Christlike, genuine, positive, and wonderful person I have ever known. He truly cares about others more than himself. He is a leader in our church. The children love him, the youth look up to him and the adults respect him. He works so hard in every aspect of his life - mostly in the service of others
Our son was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 15 months old. We almost lost him a few times and I cannot imagine going through that experience without Chris! Our son is now a energetic 4 year old, and Chris is the best Dad to both of our kids. They love him - cry when he leaves for work - cheer and run to him when he gets home.
I am so blessed to have him in my life. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to remember that this morning!
I just turned 40, and my sweet hubby sent me 40 sunflowers, then had my best friend surprise me by meeting me at my favorite resturant for dinner (she had to drive 3 hours!) THEN bought me jewelry! :0) Thanks for the opportunity!
a couple of weeks ago, we were having a rough week. my sweet hubby left the most precious note on the seat of my car and had the song we danced to at our wedding playing in the cd player as i turned it on. and i got this little treat while he was hanging with our baby girl so i could have some much needed girl time! he pretty much rocks! :)
Oh, I could go on for days about why my husband is the BEST! For starters, I am 31 weeks pregnant with our first child, and he takes such good care of me. He can just sense when I'm tired and will do the dishes without me asking. I was really sick through 19 weeks (throwing up and all!) and he totally picked up my slack around the house, cleaning, cooking, and sitting behind me each and every time I got sick so he could rub my back.
Most recently, I had asked him to replicate some cute shelves I saw online for the baby's room. He did a knock-out job, even taking off the brackets after I had a meltdown (no doubt hormone-induced!) about how they weren't exactly like the ones on the Web site.
Most importantly, he is the most patient person I know. He is slow to anger, and has taught me so much about communication in a relationship (my parents did not communicate at all, and as a result, built up 20+ years of resentment and got divorced). When the aforementioned cloud disagreement broke out, we talked it through, both of us saying our pieces, and both ending up completely happy with the end result.
I will remember and cherish these things about him every time I look at those shelves in our son's room. He is my best friend and truly my better half.

As my husband nears the end of a long journey of schooling to become a Chiropractor, I'm once again reminded of how amazing he is. He has taken on a paper route to help pay our bills and wakes up every morning at 1:30 to do his job, then comes home and takes a short nap before heading off to school. He works so hard to provide for our 3 boys, and is always talking about how our future is going to be so wonderful because we've sacrificed so much to get there. I feel so blessed to have him in my life.
I don't think I tweeted right...
My husband is my rock when we lost our daughter this year...was a single dad while I was in the hospital during that time & is amazing. Words don't describe what he's done for me, allowed me to be. He warms my heart every day with all that he does.
My husband SO deserves some recognition for being the great husband and father that he is. He, of course, works hard providing for our family of 5 (3 kiddos). He has always been on board with the stay-at-home mom thing, even though that puts extra pressure on him as the sole provider. Despite seldom taking time to pursue his own hobbies he encourages me to pursue my passions (quilting, crafting, creative pursuits of all kinds) and also encourages me to go and do for distant family when they need it, even when it means he must work and shuttle the older children to school and activities. He has been a very involved and creative parent leader in scouting for the last 4 years and has become involved in the children's program at our church as a volunteer as well. He works at home when he can so he can see the kids more during the day. He is a goofy, fun parent but also has expectations that must be met. He has taught the boys how to kayak and how to build a computer, how to do handy-man things around the house and lets them help him with little car chores. He is in all things an excellent partner for me. There are clear (somewhat cliched) lines of chore division (his idea of cooking is putting peanut butter on a banana) but there are also many areas in which we rely on each other's ideas, opinions and help. He is a great guy and I wouldn't trade him for anyone else I've ever met!
There is not a one great thing I can say about my husband, there are many. The very best thing about my husband is what a wonderful father he is. He is so amazing to our 3 boys and I am so lucky to have him by my side.
I love living life with my husband! The Lord blessed me with wisdom when I chose to marry him. Something I love about William is that he never grumbles. He works diligently and always has a joyful spirit. He leads me in prayer and following the Lord. I've got it good!
Aww, I love all these comments! Hub & I are high school sweethearts, together for 8 years, married for one! We're such a great team and he's always there for me. He loves to surprise me with the little things- coming home from work early, flowers for no reason, a clean house, etc! We aren't parents YET but I know he'll be a great daddy! He loves our pup very much and is a Hero in his line of work. He loves talking about our future and dreaming of big things- that's something I really love about him. I could go on and one, he's just my one and only.
our son has leukemia and some other serious complications from that and we've literally spent more of the last year in the hospital than we have at home. my husband is amazing with our son. he's so sacrificial - staying at the hospital every other night so that i can go home and sleep, while still working full time to provide for us. my husband is just so fun! he can keep our son entertained for hours while we're waiting for appointments, waiting for surgery, waiting for labs, waiting, waiting, waiting. and above all, he loves God and teaches our children to love God as well. i'm so blessed.
My hubby is truly an awesome man of God. He is my best friend and I don't know what I would do with out him. He has held my hair back from my face while i have thrown up when I was so sick with our last child. Since I have had so many medical problems over the last couple of years, he has basically taken over cooking supper after working all day long. He has recently taken on a 2nd job to help support our family. He tells me that he wants me at home to take care of our family and he will do whatever it takes to keep it that way. He takes time with each child to make sure they are all equally loved. He helps with their school work and extra activities. He is truly the best husband and daddy that a family could ever want. I am so thankful for God sending him into my life.
My husband is the greatest and reminds me every day. For example today he not only goes to work but meets me at the doctors office to take our daughter for her checkup and then off to a FOP meeting, back home around 9PM to cook chili for a fundrasier we are having at work for a coworker/friend that is battling cancer....just because I don't cook. He shows me his sweetness every day.
My husband and I both work six days a week, 8-5. My sweet hubby had a random Monday off work (which I didn't know) and he called me at work to find out if we had pecans. I was busy, didn't know, and couldn't talk. When I got home, he had made pecan & panko encrusted chicken, sweet potato casserole, asparagus, & pumpkin gelato! Talk about the royal treatment! And there was no clean-up involved after dinner! What a sweet way he used his day off just to bless me!
My husband is by far, the best! He is a stay-at-home dad to our 20 month old little hellio....err, angel of a daughter. ;) He allows me to work full time away from the house, and then, after some snuggle time, helps me by watching her and keeping her distracted while I do one of the 4 other jobs I do after work. It's intense, but he loves it. He also cooks AMAZING meals (I can ruin boxed mac & cheese), cleans house, does laundry and just is amazing.
Oh, and he has the CUTEST butt. :D
There probably isn't enough space in this comment section to talk about what a huge blessing my husband is in my life. We have been married for 8 years, but together for 14 1/2 years. We are high school sweethearts - and today, I feel like we are still those two young lovebirds; laughing and giggling like two teenagers in love. We have three beautiful children - who love and adore their father. He works hard to provide a beautiful life for us...but he always puts his family first. He respects me and treats me like a queen, so it's easy for me to treat him with mutual respect. He is spectacular in the kitchen, wonderful around the house, a master diaper-changer and a natural comedian (we laugh a lot!). Oh, and to top it all off, he is quite handsome. :)
Those of us who can brag about our husbands and tell these wonderful stories are blessed women. I am happy to say I am among all of you by also having the "best" husband in the world. It's awesome being married to my best friend!
we both work full-time, but because he lives closer to home, he's in charge of the kitchen. from doing the dishes to cooking dinner every night, he's on top of it. and i don't really show my appreciation enough.
also, when i NEED to be crafty, he totally watches our 17 month old by himself and can entertain him for hours on end.
i loves him. dearly.
My husband is amazing for so many reasons! He loves his kids and loves spending time with them - bike rides, playing catch, anything - he's the best dad! He fully supports my decision to be a stay at home mom, and that means so much to me! He's forever helping me out with kids and around the house, and he works so hard to support our family! Love him so much!!
Quick and simple, the days where I'm at wits' end with our son, my husband is there to whisk him away and leave me in a bit of piece. With an active 3yr old, that time is priceless. They both enjoy the time together and I appreciate the time apart. :)
My husband is the best for so many reasons. He makes me feel beautiful and cherished every single day. He treats our daughter like a princess and he fills this house with warmth and laughter. He works hard so I can stay at home with Avery and he constantly encourages me and challenges me to be the best wife and mother I can be. He is incredible!
my husband has shown me what it means to love others like christ loves them. he unconditionally loves me, even when i don't deserve it (which there are many days i don't deserve it).
beyond that, he selflessly serves his family---not only by going to work and providing for us, but by helping with the mundance household and kid stuff when he gets home.
through all of this he is teaching our boys how to be men of God...which i could never say enough thanks.
My husband is great! I am 5 months pregnant and he has been so supportive and helpful throughout the pregnancy. He prepares healthy meals, makes sure I take my vitamins and is more than willing to give me a back rub. On top of that he works during the day and helps clean the house on the weekend. I couldn't ask for anyone more wonderful to spend my life with.
I couldn't ask for a better husband or father to my children than who I have. He is amazing. He is the calmness to my storm and the reason to my rhyme. We have a child with autism and it can get pretty hairy sometimes but I always know that we are a team working together to bring out the best in eachother. He is for sure my better half and is the most loving and caring father to our kiddos. I love him dearly.
My husband and I have been married for nine years, working on ten! He is a wonderful father, takes care of me and our son and we have a great relationship. He is a bit older than me, but we always say we live in my age and although I know he's sometimes tired from working so hard, he still finds time to play with our son, take care of the dog and all of the things that I would certainly miss if he didn't do them! Like take out the trash, he does all the laundry, walks the dog, fills and emptys the dishwasher and fills my car up with gas! It's the little things that definitely make it work!
My husband is the best hubby ever because he never fails to make me feel beautiful, after just having our fourth child, I am feeling really chubby and down about myself, but he looks at me with pure truth in his eyes and unwavering love and tells me every day how beautiful I am.....sigh,he supports me in my career as a photographer and is the best Daddy I could have imagined for my children!
Oh boy where do I start.
I am so all over the place and he is so mellow. He calms me. When I am freaking out, he just holds me and listens to me. He is my best friend and we talk about everything, so that the decisions we make are OUR decisions. we don't have to be going out all the time or doing crazy things...being together is enough. I have no CLUE what I would do without him. I love my husband.
PS...he does dishes too! Does it get better?
My hubby woke up with the baby AND let me sleep in AND cleaned the entire house for me last weekend!! Now that is love =)
I'm a stay at home mom to 3 under 3, a 2 1/2 year old daughter and 5 month old boy/girl twins...my days are incredibly rewarding, but busy, busy, busy. On weekends my hubby makes sure that I get some 'me time' and keeps all 3 kiddos at home so that I can get out by myself for a few hours. It saves my sanity, gives him some quality time with the kiddos and truly makes me love him even more. He's the best :)
I am thankful for my husband's friendship and respect everyday, but this morning he was a superhero! I went out to start my SUV this morning, only to find the battery was dead! I went back inside to see what we could work out as far as carpooling and he suggests that he run up to NAPPA to get a battery for it. "It will be fixed in 30 minutes!" he excalimed.
Now, I love my husband and have faith in his abilities, but he is a business manager of multiple websites and lets just say his technical skills are...concerning! He can't even program the clock on the oven! I am stressing at this point, thinking perhaps I should just call AAA.
Nope, He comes home, replaces the old battery, returns the old battery for credit and comes back home with Trader Joe coffee and flowers, all before 9am.
The best part about this story wasn't that he brought flowers home (though that was a BIG treat!) or that the car actually was running and his suit was still clean and we made it to preschool and work on time (though that was a miracle!!), but that through the chaos of getting out of the door this morning, our whole family was laughing and happy- albeit slightly at his expense. =)
You see, there is one thing I can count on. I will smile, laugh and our life together will be rewarding. Our sense of humor together helps us make it through those 'sticky' day to day challenges of parenthood. I am thankful for him everyday, but today I am amazed!!
As a father he is gentle but rough. He giggles but he's stearn. He kisses boo boo's but gives a push to try again. When they need comfort they know that they can come to either one of us and that makes me proud. As a husband he tells me every day that he loves me or that I look pretty. He thanks me for cleaning the house, or making dinner. He is a reminder to me everyday of how we should treat each other. He is a police officer and yet he comes home everyday with a smile and no complaints. I just feel lucky that he's mine :)
There are way too many reasons why I love my husband but one of the biggest reasons lately is because he's supporting my dream. I've been going back to school for my BSN/Nursing and without him, I don't know how I'd do it. He encouraged me to go back, has helped with daycare/school drop offs and takes the kids to afternoons at the park so I can get papers done or study for exams.
Between both of our work schedules and the kids schedules, we don't have much time for us but he still takes the time to hug me randomly through the day and tell me he loves me. He is a great dad, husband and my best friend.
So many lovely comments, its been so nice reading them :o)
My man is my friend, my love, my life. I could tell a number of stories about him from when I first knew him (before we were together) and I was having a very down time and he took a day out to drive me across the country to spend a day in one of my most favorite places as a cheer-me-up to when I first went on a lampwork course and came home to a mini studio set up in our garage that he had built for me in secret while i had been away. But i think the best thing about him is the fact that everyday he shows me in so many ways that I am loved and cherished :o)
Thank you for inspiring me to take a few minutes to think about how fab he is :))
Yesterday was my birthday & my hubby had worked overnight the night before (leaving at 10PM & coming home aroung 8AM)and instead of heading straight to bed, he came to my work & brought me balloons, a gift (boots I had been wanting) & took me out to lunch. And again, instead of going to bed afterwards, He ran to the grocery store, picked up the kids after school & had them help him make homemade pizza! So when I got home, He had dinner ready & topped of the night with ice cream cake from Marble Slab!!! He is the best husband & even better father! Love that guys to much!!
On Tuesday my husband went out to mow our lawn and next thing I know he's mowing 3 of our neighbors lawns. One of them just had open heart surgery and the other 2 our new neighbors. It was a big job we have large yards!
I thought it was so sweet and thoughtful!
Thanks Erin!
My husband is my hero. He is the one man in my life that showed me my worth and has given up everything for me. He gave up his "dreams" so that I could stay at home with my babies, knowing I was raised by a single mom and had needed this. He works very hard to provide for us in every aspect. He has put our family first at every turn and now 11 yeas later I am still his bride. I dont know how I could have been so lucky to have married the man of my dreams and for him still to sweep me off my feet. Oh, he's super hot too. :)
My husband should definitely win. =) He's loving and kind, thoughtful and sweet. And he will change dirty diapers even though he thinks it's pretty much the worst thing in the world for him to do. ;-) He's an awesome husband and father! I'm so grateful he's in my life!
I can think of SO MANY stories, but just for this contest I'll tell one of my favorites - After our 3rd miscarriage I was feeling pretty lousy, so Hubs scheduled a "spa day" for me. Later, when he was giving the date/time of the appointment, he announced that he had also paid for my sister to join me. We got to use the sauna, the hot tub, have facials and massages, and finish the day with pedicures. It was fabulous (and expensive.) I was so happy he thought to invite my sis because it made my day so much brighter than being alone. And best of all, he does things like this all the time. :)
Joel is tall, "dark" and HANDSOME! A husband, a father, a pastor, a friend to many. Joel is an example of God's unconditional love for me. On my birthday last month, he brought me the Sunday paper to me in bed (he knows I'm a couponer)and as I opened the ads, I saw that he had customized a page of coupons just for me: free diaper change (the nastiest ones...he'll drive home just to change it), dinner at the restaurant of my choice, chore-free day, etc. He's the one who looks handsome tilling our vegetable garden and mowing our lawn, laughs with our 16 month-old son while taking him for a bike ride through the park, extends a hand to the ones in our church without hesitating, sounds wonderful singing in the shower, takes us to ice-cream runs right before bed-time, and stops by during his lunch break just to give me a kiss. Joel is my friend, my lover, my son's father, my support, and my reminder of God's true and unconditional love for me. The ONLY thing Joel hasn't done is blessed me with a Vintage Pearl Necklace! I love him anyway!
My husband and I met in the Summer of 2000 at a Summer camp. I was 13 and Daniel was 15. We didn't realize it then, but even at such a young age God was already writing our love story! Daniel and I have been through a lot during the past 10 years that we have known each other! In the Spring of 2006 at the age of 19, I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and then again in the Spring of 2008. Unfortunately in the Spring of 2008, at the age of 21, I had to have a total hysterectomy. Even though we were not even engaged at the time, we had been planning for a future together and we quickly realized that this meant that we could no longer have biological children. Even though I would never be able to give him a child, Daniel loved me anyway and he stayed by my side through it all. The weekend before I was to start chemo Daniel gave me another reason to fight for my life, he asked me to be his wife and to spend the rest of my life with him. After 7 months of intense chemo, on April 25th 2009 Daniel and I were married!! Our wedding day was the best day of ours lives! April 25th 2009 I married my prince charming, my soul mate, my best friend, and my dream come true! I couldn't have asked the Lord for a better man to call my husband! Our journey has not been an easy one but every step we have taken has brought us closer to each other and closer to the Lord! Being Daniel Brooker's wife has allowed me to be loved with the most precious love of all- an unconditional, selfless love. I am truly blessed to be HIS wife!!
There is not enough time or room here to tell you about my wonderful husband. He is truly a gift from God. I believe we are more in love today then we ever have been....I am extremely proud to say we've been married for 30 yrs and still going strong.I guess the most important thing I can say about him is, not only do I love and adore him.....I still LIKE him....
~Sharon~
He is the best hand holder during labor, even though it makes him queasy. He knows when to touch me, when NOT to, when to speak, when to be quiet. Just his touch calms me in amazing ways. I'm so excited to get to share those moments again with him soon (due in 6 weeks) and just hoping he doesn't pass out. :D
I am lucky to have a very sentimental, thoughtful hubby. When he brings me flowers he usually brings them to our girlies as well! Three nights a week the girlies and I are out late at ballet and most times when we get home there is something wonderful to eat waiting for us. Not to mention he can build and fix almost anything...we have a beautiful porch, bookshelves, fancy cabinets, tile floors...all thanks to Brian!
I have the best hubby! Over the summer I sprained both of my ankles and was laid up for quite a while. He did so much around the house! Took care of the kids ( I have 3 ), did laundry, dishes, cooked...and he helped me get around during the day and during the night if I needed it. I felt so bad that I couldn't help him out...but he was a trooper and never complained. He's the best and I love him dearly!
My husband is a prize! He works all day everyday so that I can stay home with our beautiful girls. He comes home and helps me get dinner on the table, plays with them, wrestles, digs for worms, reads, cuddles, and whatever else they want. Then he gets them their bath and pjs while I either clean up or rest depending on the kind of day I've had. He always loves me- no matter what I look like, do, say, or cook for dinner. He eats anything! He brings me chocolate anytime he travels and he will watch whatever I want on tv when we snuggle. You know he deserves an award when MY entire family brags about him...yep- even the in-laws think he hung the moon. Most of all he loves Jesus and inspires me to be a better person every day. That sounds so corny but it's true. He is the greatest ever!
My husband is the BEST husband and father we could ever have! He was the one who convinced ME that I needed the $300 breast pump since I was totally quietly suffering with my single hand one! He plays Halloween hide and seek with the boys, patiently includes the boys in all his projects around the house, gets giddy over holidays and birthdays. He simply is the best!
I love to brag about my hubby every chance I get!! Just yesterday I had my monthly bunco night with my girls and he came home early from work and told me to go get ready for my night and put my feet up for a bit while he cleaned the house for me and took care of our 1 year old too!!
I love my hubby!!!
My husband is my everything. This summer he had an accident with farm equipment while on vacation, and he's currently in a wheelchair. We nearly lost him, yet he still manages to provide for us and put US first. He is the epitome of what a husband should be. He has done more for me than anyone in the world...and even delivered our baby in our bathroom after I miscarried. (Tomorrow being Pregnancy and Infant Loss Day reminds me even MORE how amazing he truly is.) You can read our love story here:
http://www.sugaranddots.com/2010/03/right-hand-woman.html
Or you can browse my blog- my adoration for him is prominent everywhere. Or simply ask me about him- I am always willing to brag. :)
My husband is seriously one of a kind. It is a million little things that make up the incredible man I get to live my life with. Every night we go to bed wrapped up in each others arms, and one of the best feelings is waking up in the middle of the night and realizing we are still holding hands. Periodically I have to work night shifts and every morning I walk in the door I find my kitchen cleaned up, the bed made and the sweetest love note left for me to get thru the day. He is an extremely hard worker and loves me unconditionally. He finds new ways every day to show me how much he loves me. I love to brag about the wonderful, sweet, caring hardworking man that steals my heart every moment
Where can I start? How about this very morning, not ten minutes ago...I have about a 10 second attention span and consequently forget EVERYTHING. This morning, I forgot my cell phone which I absolutley have to have for work every day. As I was sitting here stewing about whether I should make the 15 mile drive back home to get it, I look up and who is standing in my office door? The Brown-Eyed Man I married. He works from home and it's not convenient for him to come to town but he did, for me.
One more plug for B-E-M: The very best gift he ever gave me was a piece of paper. On it he wrote a list of all the ways I had made his life better.
I love him.

My honey is just the man for me. We compliment each others strengths and weaknesses. I just turned 40 and not only did he surprise me with a cake at our church, but he also surprised me with dinner that night. But while we were gone he had it planned to transform our backyard and they had a surprise dessert party waiting for me. I told him that he had me at cake. =0) We work as missionaries and the fact that all of this time and thought were put into that day to let me know just how special I am to him was wave after wave of love. Plus, his birthday is the day after mine! Here is a poem he once sent me when he was out of town on a missions trip: (he is from New Jersey and Philly cheese steaks are a favorite):
Hi honey, I just wanted to say I Love you & really miss you.
You are the bubbles in my champagne
You are the Jelly on my PBJ (because its SWEET)
You are the drippy grease in my Philly cheese steak
in short you are what makes everything that could be good...
GREAT
I Love You
~I just love him! Thanks so much for letting me brag on my honey too. Kelly

My hubby is the best! Besides working a regular job 4o plus hours a week and running his own business on top of that, he always makes time for me and our son!! Every free moment he has he is spending quality time with us!! He does so much for us and does not complain and does it happily! He really is my best friend!!
My husband is amazing for countless reasons. He is our hero for currently serving our country in Afghanistan but he is much more than a Marine. He's great because he surprises me with flowers for no reason, he's up for family walks, he plays with our children and reads to them. He's my best friend...he's the greatest husband for thinking he doesn't do anything "special", when everything he does is simply wonderful.
Thank you!

My hubby is taking our boys (3 yr old twins) on a 2 day trip so that I can get some much needed time this weekend at home to clean, rest, and hang out with some girlfriends. love him!
Hubby had my car detailed at home over the summer-LOVE IT!!
My hubby cooks and cleans the toilets-that more could I ask for.
My husband is my best friend and I do not know what I would do without him.
This past Tuesday night and all day Wednesday I suffered from an allergic reaction to a food I cooked with. I was sick all day long yesterday and I was unable to complete all of my daughter's homeschooling for that day.
My husband came home and took the kids out to dinner to Wendy's and to our local grocery store for a cookie and ginger ale for my stomach. He wanted me to be able to have some peace and quiet...which I was really in need of. He then came home and finished the rest of the home schooling with my daughter. I felt so much better just knowing that dinner and school was done.
I'm feeling much better today, but my husband left us all a note saying how much he was going to miss us today and that he hoped I was feeling better. Awe!! I love my guy so much...
My husband is the best a woman could ask for. He is a hero in so many ways, to our country... he puts his life on the line for our freedom, to me.....he is my rock, always there for me whenever I need someone to lift me up, our kids....he has stepped in to raise my son as his own, it takes a selfless man to do this, he always makes sure to have enough time in the day for the kids, whether it be playing a video game, helping with homework or tickling tiny toes. He deserves some recognition for all he does not just for our family, but for EVERY family.
I am almost 30 weeks pregnant with our second and he surprised me Monday night by skipping both of his fun guys night activities (watching football and softball) to help me cross off some things on our ever growing to do list!
My husband just had to do something that I could not do. Our 7 year old daughter's friend lost her battle to cancer last week. My husband took her to the funeral and cemetary on Monday. He spent the whole day with her and has been there for her every step of the way. I have been a mess but am thankful he has been able to be with our daughter during such a difficult time.
After 28 years together and 4 kids, hubby is still the best choice I ever made! He is an awesome daddy, working on the pit crew of the high school band, serving as den leader for my three boys' scout dens, cheering my daughter on at her basketball games, doing 99% of the home repairs and yardwork around here, and makes us some wonderful BBQ every weekend! He is a great daddy and hubby, even if I am not poetic and mushy about it - I think I got the best end of the deal!
MY hubby's the best hubby because he really values vacations. He's great at setting money aside and saving money for our family to build memories together instead of spending it on "stuff" that gets broken, dusty, neglected and taken for granted. Both as our family of six and just the two of us, we've taken trips that have built some great memories and we've grown in our relationships because of our time together. I love him for that!
He's pretty awesome. I'm blessed beyond measure!
My husband know I hate laundry! If there is laundry to be done he will stay up late one night and do all of it. I love waking up to clean laundry, and my husband wakes up to a happy wife! :)
OKAY... commenting for the THIRD time...
(No, this isn't my ploy to get an extra entry or two! LOL!)
I didn't realize the comments were moderated - I thought I'd done something wrong, so I commented again and then noticed why I didn't see the first one. Doh! You don't need to publish all three of my comments! LOL!
My husband is the BEST every day--but specially he's awesome today because he's been patiently working to correct my financial accounting errors for the past 2 hours. eeeek! Thanks, Babe! :)

I got out of the shower the other night and remarked how I really needed to clean the tub. The next day I came home from work to a sparkling clean tub. That one example embodies so much of what is wonderful about my husband--he fixes things without being asked, he does things to make my life easier, he is willing to do the yucky tasks, and doesn't view things as "your jobs" and "my jobs."
To take a little off of my to-do-list and because he is the greastest husband a woman could have, he cooks our dinner's AND cleans up afterwards on all the night of the week I work (3-4). I couldn't ask for more!:)
My hubby is the best because:
he works hard in constrcution all day but then comes home and rubs MY FEET!
he always saves the last piece/biggest bite/last cup of cofee for me
he cooks breakfast Sunday mornings so I can sleep in
he teaches middle school Sunday school - ugh! the hardest age!
he always gives me his shoulder to cry on and is my rock when our daughters are going through medical issues with their heart defects and epilepsy.
He is a gift from God to me!
here are just a few reasons my hubby (of less 2 1/2 years) should win the award. He reads the Bible to me every night (even when I've fallen asleep) and prays with me. He washes all the dishes (we have no dishwasher). He writes me love notes and leaves them around the house. He wakes up every morning and tells me how thankful he is to be my husband. He is quick to ask for forgiveness and quick to give it. I love him dearly.
My hubby has done so much for me lately. I am down and out being sick 24 hours a day with this pregnancy. He has really stepped up to the plate cleaning, doing laundry, dishes, cooking dinner and entertaining our 4 year old. Not to mention he works 12 hour days and also travels 3 days a week. I don't know what I would do without him. He is the greatest husband to have.
My husband is amazing! We have a 6 month old baby (who is still having trouble sleeping through the night) and I have to get up with him most every night. My hubby works so hard and has to be up by 5am every morning to go to work so I can stay home with our little guy. I get up during the night so he can get as much sleep as possible. He has taken this week off for vacation, and all week he has gotten up with the baby without me asking and even suggested that I go take a long nap several days this week. That means the world to a super sleep deprived Momma! What an awesome husband and Daddy!

My husband is the best! He is super friendly, talks to everyone and always has a smile. He plays with the kids and acts goofy all the while being a Godly husband and father, instructing us in the Word of God.
He is quick to forgive and never holds a grudge.
These past few years he has been a great help to me. I don't drive much anymore and he takes me to all of my appointments, drives me to my women's studies (30 minutes each way) and then hangs out with the kids in the car and watches movies so I can fellowship with other women. Since I've been dizzy, he does the shopping for me and takes the kids to their activities. He loves my cooking and has never once told me he doesn't like something. I am blessed to have him.
My hubby Brandon is such a hard worker...that's worth bragging about right there. He's not one to sit down (okay....for football on tv he will sit!) This weekend he is sending me to Time Out For Women (google it). It's basically a day and a half of uplifting speakers and musical presentation. I am going with my mom and he is staying home with the of the 4 kids (nursing baby comes with me!) He's so good about making sure I get a few days of "me" time throughout the year!
I am married to a fantastically wonderful man! He is a mega nerd (think Big Bang Theory!) but knows that I love to quilt, so he takes me to the fabric shops and helps me decide what we like and what works with other fabric I have. I know it isn't one of his interests, but I love that he will find ways to be interested in things just because I am and he loves me. I'm thankful he's all mine! :)
My husband is wonderful for so many reasons - I don't even know wehre to start or how to list them all! He does laundry, he cooks, he cleans, and he's a great Dad. Plus he does really sweet things for me like putting a blanket in the dryer for me when I'm cold and surprising me with small things that he knows make me really happy. I wouldn't trade him for anyone else - I love him so much!
everyday i wonder...how did i get so lucky! My husband runs many businesses, and on top of all the stress he has during this crappy economy, he manages to come home and be the most amazing father and husband anyone could ask for.
I love that he is always serving our family no matter what!
what a blessing it is to have him in our lives and love us so much!
I love that we get to brag up our hubbies, what a great idea?
I am not married (yet), but my fiance has been so amazing and supportive of me lately. I've been having a lot of family issues and he has been there for me through it all. Just last night my little brother was admitted to the hospital at 3am and he without any questions asked, perked up out of bed and went with me. He's simply amazing and I'm so fortunate to have him in my life. God is good and I am so blessed!

My husband is the best ever. We have 4 children and he is the greatest daddy to them! When I had cancer 2 years ago he totally stepped in and helped with the children and cooking and cleaning while I underwent surgery and radiation. He is the greatest support person in the world and he tells all the world how much he loves me by wearing shirts that say my wife rocks! He is truly the best!
My husband is amazing... he was out of work for a year, applied for jobs all day, took care of our daughter, ran errands, and took care of me while I was sicker than sick pregnant. Never complaining but always supportive and helpful. I ended up on bedrest towards the end of the pregnancy and DH stepped it up even more. He's now working 2 jobs so we have a little extra every month and never complains when he comes home to a messy house. Even though he's had a stressful day (he's a police officer) he's always helpful w/ DD and DS. He's such a blessing and I truely look up to him and am so thankful that God blessed me w/ such an incredible husband!
I love my husband because he ALWAYS thinks of me first and wants what is going to be best for me, even if it is inconvenient for him. He has allowed me to grow and let me discover new things and what I want to become. He has done more for me than I ever thought that anyone could. He really is the best husband ever.
I love my husband! I have always admired his work ethic, but now more than ever since he gets up at 5:30 every morning to go to work, without complaint, so that I can be home with our children. He has always supported me in everything I've ever done or wanted to do.
He spoils me. Just last week, he went in to work late so that he could take our cat -- my cat, the cat that I just had to have -- to the vet, just so I wouldn't have to get up early because he knows I'm not a morning person.
Wow, I could go on and on with this comment, but the short and sweet version is: my husband has been my Rock this past year and a half while I continue to struggle and fight through a health issue. Even though I know he's emotionally & physically drained, he is still right by my side, comforting, encouraging, supporting, and loving me; all the while he continues running our family's dairy farm and helping care for our 3 children. He is a truly amazing blessing, and I love him more and more each day!
Thanks Erin for reminding me that I need to tell him so....

My husband RAWKS!!!! He is one of the most amazing people I know! He left me a card on my pillow last week, and just simply wrote "Because you are the best Mother a child could want, and the most amazing wife any man could have".... He is my rock!! The little things like that make me so grateful that God blessed me with such an amazing partner!
My husband is active duty, been to the war zones different times, dealing with war related issues, and a loving dad and husband. Spends his free time with our four sons. Teaching them values, challenging them to do more for others, do not take anything for granted, to respect their mom, others, and themselves, there are consquences for their choices and not to blame others when they make an incorrect choice, stand up for what they believe in, and so much more. He is a very special man and husband. I am so blessed and thankful for him. We have been married almost seventeen years.
My husband has always been there for me and for our 2 kids. Never once had he complained about anything! He loves and cherishes our kids and i couldn't ask for anymore. He is a wonderful father and a great husband.
My hubs is my high school sweetheart and while many of our friends were jetting off to college we were changing diapers. He has always been a faithful, family man, who is lead by the Holy Spirit. He spent many years working an overnight shift to provide for my family and recently added full time school online to is already 12 hour work load. He has always sacrificed so that we would come first and reminds daily of his love for me and my children.
My husband is the best in many ways. It's hard to pick just one reason... he willingly gives his family all of his time... always there for me and our two sons. He owns and operates his own business and he doesn't have a lot of free time, but he always puts us first. We lost his mother last week to a long, courageous fight against cancer. His past few years he has been not only caring for me and our two young sons, but his mother as well.
My husband is amazing! One of the many things he's done for me is, he's taken on an extra minijob (tutoring kids after school) so that I can only work 30 hours and spend more time at home with our baby girl! ~Nina
My hubby wins the best hubbie award in my book no matter what! He knows how to make me laugh just when I need it. He knows just when I am overwhelmed by the house or the kids and does dishes or laundry or takes the kids on a bike ride to help out. He loves our children unconditionally (me too for that matter). I also love watching him give of himself and his time not only to our families (parents, grandparents, and so on) but to others in our church that might be in need.
Just this morning, I woke up to find that the dish fairy (aka my hubby) had done all the dishes in the sink for me!
one morning, after cleaning the house, he told me we had to run to his parents for a quick visit. i wasn't expecting it and looked horrible! little did i know that he had a whole spa day planned for me and that trip to his parents was a trick to really just drop off our son for a day and night of free babysitting. then he dropped me off at the spa and told me he would see me in about 4 hours! he picked me up with a single rose in hand and took me home to a bathroom filled with candles and a steaming hot bath and rose petals! it was one of the most romantic things he has ever done!
I don't even know where to begin...we moved from Denver to Dallas to be w/my husband while he was onsite @the Cowboy's stadium...when my husband found out I had been accepted to the fibers program at SCAD in Savannah, he suprised me and gave his two weeks notice opening game week and found a job in GA. That week I became very ill, I barely made it to GA, losing eight pounds and becoming weaker each day...he cared for me and for our two children...and over the past year, after not being able to attend b/c I had become so sick and moving two more times for work after that, he has dropped everything to step in and take over everything I normally do as "mommy," from making school lunches, dropping kiddos off at school and standing outside the classroom of our crying kindergartener, to attending the book fair, making dinner, leaving work to pick the kids up...he is amazing...my simple words don't even do him justice. He is the sweetest most loving man in the world...the bestest friend a girl could ever have, and fabulous daddy. I feel blessed to grow old with this beautiful man.
My guy rocks. Just simple examples prove this - like a scene from last night: we were finishing dinner, and my four-year-old daughter pushed her plate back and said she was done. We could tell she was super excited about something, for her food was not finished and she was smiling from ear to ear and wiggling in her seat. I asked what she was so excited about, and she immediately said that she was ready to play "tag and go seek with daddy AND make silly faces!" She combines about three games into one with this experience, and she and her daddy just run around from bedroom to bedroom chasing each other, making faces, etc. Her two-year-old brother joins in it all two with lots of squealing and joy!
Kyle is an amazing father and husband. He always goes out of his way to put our two girls and myself before himself. He works hard to porvide for us. We are expecting our 3rd child in 10 days and he could not be happier. He has really stepped up the last few weeks getting everything ready for the baby and taking extra time to spend with our other two girls as I have not had the energy lately to do much.
We could not be where we are today with out him.
Where do I even begin!? Jason is quite simply the BEST. It's just all the little things he does, he knows when I am feeling overwhelmed, and knows just what I need and what I need help with. He loves his girls to death, and they totally have him wrapped around their little fingers! He's my best friend, my true love, and I am so thankful for him!!
because he loves me.
he did when we were 17, and still... maybe even more 15 years later!
my husband for sure wins no. 1! i am pregnant with our second baby and super sick. he has totally taken over. he goes to work early so he can come home early - does the grocery shopping, hired a cleaning lady to help me and cooks dinner. pretty sure he is no. 1 in my book!!
My hubby vacuums, irons, unloads the dishwasher before work, remembers to brush the kids' teeth, takes the kids to school most mornings so I don't have to rush, sends me sweet texts during the day, takes me on regular date nights, loves Jesus, busts his tail at work to provide for us, and does it all with a smile :)
My husband is the best this week, because Saturday is my annual shopping day with my girlfriends. Once a year we drive a few hours away to shop the entire day, and he watches our kids and holds down the fort. Wa-HOO
My husband is everything to me: my partner, my soul mate, my best friend. And he also happens to be the best Daddy in the world to our three little boys! He routinely comes home from work and “sends me to my room” , or out for coffee, or just out to the grocery store alone to give me time to decompress. This is after he has worked all day, providing for us so that I can stay home with the kids… He is ravenous college football fan, and we have been saving for 3 years for him to go to his team’s Fantasy Camp this summer - he hasn‘t had many birthday, Christmas, anniversary or other presents since we‘ve just been putting all aside for this camp... Well, a few weeks ago, he told me that as much as he would like to go to the camp, he feels like our marriage and our family are more important. So he wants to use “his” money to go on a couples vacation this spring and a long weekend family trip this summer. His selflessness and love for his family are truly an inspiration to me.
This is easy to do today! My daughter has a bad infection and as the one who overreacts and gets nervous, I love love love being married to Mr. Calm. I am grateful for the loving and sweet way that he is taking care of both of us and helping me not carry around my nervousness. God was good to me.
My husband is the best because he puts up with me and all my wackiness. He has given me three beautiful little girls and the only other male in our house is a beagle named Howie. And he says... he wouldn't have it any other way.
**I've had a blast reading the other entries! Such a great idea :)**
First of all I would like to say that I just started blogging this week. I get so excited knowing that I get to post something new about my life and family. After seeing your contest to Brag about Him, I thought this might be the perfect time to BRAG on my hubby. I am so in love with the man I am married to, might I add I am very lucky to have him. My husband and I have 3 kids. Courtney, 13, Connor 6, and Carter 4. Devoted husband, great provider and loving father are a few words that describe him perfectly. He gives 110% to our marriage and family. He and I both realize that you don’t have to have a lot of money to take family trips, or even buy the biggest house on the block, which I would love. He is a very devoted father to our children, never does he leave them behind, and he always takes them to work on our family farm, fishing, and hunting, participates in school activities, works with them on their 4-H projects and even allows the kids to travel along for some of his less busy work days. He believes in celebrating special occasions and tries his best to make them perfect. My husband’s job requires him to travel a lot. Every night that my husband is home he reads the boys their nightly devotion and tucks them for bed. When he does this I get my “ME” time to do what I like to. During the winter months he drives 500 miles home to see the kids and me on Friday afternoon, knowing that he has to turn around drive those same 500 miles back on Sunday to his work destination. He is type of hubby that helps me cook (best grill cook ever), clean, and wash clothes wait he not only wash them but he folds them too. He is very supportive of my goals and tries his best to make my dreams come true. He still leaves me love notes and sends me text messages during the day to let me know how much he loves me. I can honestly say that every night before he and I fall asleep he prays for us and he knows how much I love to have my head scratched and he does that for me every night. He Love me unconditionally and I never have to doubt his love for me and just knowing that he's there for me no matter what keeps me falling in love with him more and more each day. He truly is my soul mate. I think God everyday for giving him to me and allowing me to share my life with such an amazing husband.
I don't know how I was so fortunate to marry such an amazing man. I trust him completely--with my heart, my life, my children, everything. He is honest and kind. He works hard every minute of his day--between his job, our family, and his service to the church, he never even stops to notice that he doesn't do anything for himself. He ALWAYS thanks me for every single meal I prepare, not matter how meager, and he cleans the bathrooms for me because he knows how much I don't like doing it. Not only does he clean the bathrooms, but he lets ME take the credit for them! He loves me and our children deeply and he loves the Lord with all his heart too. I am truly blessed. (Oh yeah, and he makes me laugh too! :-)
My husband is fabulous. Top notch. Amazing. Wonderful. He is a great husband, an amazing father (of 6), an extremely hard worker, a willing volunteer, a wonderful friend, a great son, son-in-law, brother, uncle . . . and he loves the Lord like crazy.
Last night he took our 5 older kids (plus an "extra" since our 8-year-old invited a friend) to church where he taught the preschool class and then brought them all home again and put them to bed. All while I got some fabulous one-on-one time with our brand new (born on 10/9) little girl!
I love him more than I can say.
Thanks for the opportunity to brag him up a bit. Thank the Lord for fabulous husbands (and daddys)
Blessings,
Shana
Out of the blue, my Hubby surprised me with a marriage retreat this weekend, up to a cabin in Wisconsin, so that we can reconnect and spend time processing the last six months, which have been very challenging. He is making time for us, which speaks love to me more than anything else. I am so blessed to have him as my husband!
I love my husband so much!! He is a great husband and a wonderful papa to our two kids! When my older child, Jonah, was a baby and getting up in the middle of the night to eat, Micah (my hubby) got up with me EVERY SINGLE TIME!! He would go get Jonah, bring him into our room so I could nurse him, then change his diaper and put him back to bed. Now that we have a 2 month old baby girl, he is doing the exact same thing!! How many wives can say their working husbands do this?! I love him!!:)
My husband is wonderful for many reasons but the most recent is how wonderful a father he is to our 7wk old Little Man! I didn't change a diaper for almost a week when our son was born - he would scoop him up and take care of it (he said he wanted to since I was in charge of feeding) :)
There aren't words to sum up the amazing man God gave me to share my life with. He's a wonderful husband and father, a true leader in our family. Without words he knows how I'm feeling. When I've had a hard day he'll run a bath for me, he always makes sure I have some time for myself each week, and there's never a day that passes where he doesn't say "I love you" to the kids and I. He's committed to all he does, yet shows the kids and I we're a priority above work and play and that God is the number 1 priority in our life.
My husband is a wonderful man whom I love more and more as the years go by. Our five years of marriage have definitely not been a bed of roses but with God's grace, through each difficult circumstance we have grown closer and closer and only love each other more. I cannot imagine any other husband, or father to our son and baby on the way in my life. I love him so much.
This is great! It's reminding me to be my husband's biggest fan cause if I don't...who will?!
My husband is just simply amazing and I'm ready to just brag away! Even though he's a pastor and is super busy being pulled in all directions, he makes sure his family is first and make ordinary days special. From little things like chasing the kids around the house giving "beardy kisses" to sitting at the table turning homework into "funwork" or picking up the kids from school with their bikes so they can ride through town and pick up a milkshake on the way home. And then there's the big things like carefully planning a budget so we can enjoy family vacations and splurge along the way or taking time each night to spend time together as a family and talk about real like issue then say prayers before bed.
It's the small this in life that are the biggest things to cherrish which turn into memories that last a life time!
Thanks Dave for being that husband and father!
My hubby of 10 years is seriously the most amazing man ever! He always cleans the kitchen without complaining (I am a messy cook so that is saying a lot)! He makes sure our two daughters KNOW how a man is supposed to treat them and that they are loved. He has never once complained about this past year and a half since I was laid off, never once blaming me and has been so understanding. I could go ON and ON and ON. He is amazing.
I'm so thankful and blessed to have Matt as my best friend for 20 years, my husband for 17 years, and the father of our three kids for 11 years. Through the ups & downs of our daily life, fun vacations, and even in times when we don't seem to be in-sync he always remembers to say I love you every single day.
My husband is amazing. He works so hard for our family but he also knows how to take it easy and have fun. He is great at balancing time between work and family. He is amazingly patient and understanding. I would be lost without him!
My husband and I are newlyweds, we got married in June. He's been incredible with helping me as I begin grad school. He has delicious dinner on the table every night, does the laundry, and always gives the dog a bath. I'd never be able to follow my grad school dreams without him by my side as my husband and best friend.
My husband is the best because he puts up with me and mostly accepts me as I am. Even though he grew up in a traditional household, he has taken on chores that previously he never would have done. It really helps me out and I appreciate it more than he will ever know!
What a great topic! My husband Zach and I have been married for over 7 years and have 3 children together. Riley 5, Trevor 4 and Ireland 2, and currently working on #4!! He is the most amazing Daddy in the whole world. We met working with autistic kids & adults so I knew he had the patience of Jobe but even still he amazes me. He wrestles with Trevor, dresses up with Riley(yes even in the princess stuff) and tickles Ireland every chance he gets. Plus, I still receive "just because" flowers about ponce a month...even after 7 yrs. of marriage!! Just shows that he still thinks about me and wants to make me happy and smile!
This morning my husband (of almost 5 months! hooray) and I were able to sleep in and be lazy for the first time in months (yay! fall break!), and as we enjoyed the sunshine through our perfect little apartment window I asked him what he wanted for his birthday coming up. Our conversation went like this--
Matthew: I want to be married.
Rachel: We ARE married.
Matthew: Oh, right,... then I want to live in a house with you.
Rachel: You DO live in a house with me.
Matthew: Hmmm... Then.... I want to go to Seminary with you.
Rachel: We DO go to seminary.
Matthew (with a cute confused face): I guess I've got everything, then--perfectly satisfied.
I have the BEST husband in the world.
oh my sweet hubbie, he is my world. He works from 9am to 2am every single day just so that one day soon I'll be able to be a stay at home mom to our 2 kids. He never tells me no - ever. Gets gas in my car every week so I don't have to and does the dishes. I am so lucky to have him. And all it takes is his smile and I'm mush
My husband is so great. He is in his first year of medical school, and he joined the army so they would pay for schooling and I could finally stay home with our little girl. He also finds time to spend with us even though he should be studying. He is super!!!
I love the surprises my husband plans for me. I love when he brings me a treat home or washes the sheets and makes the bed. I love when he does little things for me. Takes our girls for a walk or to get ice cream so I have a few minutes of peace and quiet. I also love the way he does those things when we go on vacation. Always trying to make things special. He is special.
I am so blessed with the best hubby ever! He works so hard at his job so I can stay home with our 1 year old. We are also expecting our 2nd child next month! He has made so many sacrifices for his family and he always does it with a smile on his face.
I love my honey because that man knows how to make me laugh in any situation.
I feel truly blessed to have him in my life and I love having the opportunity to share with it everyone!
Just this Monday, my husband came home with flowers for me and all the groceries needed to make our family dinner. It was wonderful!
Hello! I want to tell you about my wonderful husband. I'm 30 weeks pregnant with our second child. I was sick and threw up for nine months with my first child and this pregnancy is the same. I do not have the strength to participate in daily activities. I l am living in the toilet. My husband has been there for me 110%. He gets up every night when our little boy wakes up. He gets up every morning, so I can sleep, and drive our son to kindergarten before he goes to work herself. He does all the shopping, cook, cleans the house, he takes care of everything!! And he has not complained even once. I know it's a blessing to have children and we look forward to it very much. but sometimes it can be hard to remember when the relationship between us must be put on hold for 9 months. I love him and appreciate him every day. I know of no others who had been there like he does. I look forward to our second child is here with us, and, I am myself again. Then my husband get some care again.
What a great idea to get us to write about our husbands.
They deserve some nice words as well.
(sorry about my english, its not very good, I know)
Love
Kathrine, Norway
One of my favorite things about my husband is the musical talents God has given him. He is going to be performing one of the latest songs he has written in our church on Sunday. So excited and proud of Him for using his gifts for our Lord.
My husband, Christian is a wonderful man. He inspires me daily to be a better person with his abundance of patience and kindness and ability to bite his tongue. He's humble and wise in the way he chooses his words carefully. Some may call him quiet because of it, but you know when he says something, it comes from a good place.
He has an amazing ability to make people laugh and is good at decision making. He's a small business owner and works long hours in order to keep the business running well and provide for our family.
On top of all that, he's a wonderful father. He takes time to read books to our girls, never leaving out animation or voices and never misses bedtime and the chance to snuggle them and tell them they're beautiful.
I don't take the time to thank him enough for all his is to me and my girls. I feel blessed to call him my partner, my husband, my best friend.
My husband is the hardest working man I know. He is always doing something to earn money. He has worked at a dump to earn money and he has worked outside for 3 years in the rain and cold to bring home money to us. He loves me the best way he can. He loves his daughter and that makes me smile. I am blessed.
I am more then blessed to be married to my husband Jonah for the past 11 years. He is a lover of me (which is a challenge, I promise), patient and gentle, yet manly and strong. He is the dad to 3 daughters and it melts me every time I see them run to him, dance with him and snuggle up in his arms.
Last night he stayed home with the baby so I could teach AWANA's at church. Not only was she sleeping sweetly when I got home, but the kitchen was clean down to the stove top that I detest to do.
I am praying that there are women out there raising "Jonah's" for my 3 daughters.

One recent example of how my husband is wonderful...he dealt with me and all 4 of our kids all having the stomach bug over the last few days - while keeping a smile and his great sense of humor.
My husband really is the best!! He has ALWAYS from day one in our relationship thought of us as equals (or even treated me as a queen!) He has ALWAYS helped with the cooking, cleaning, laundry, and yardwork. He ALWAYS wants to work things out right away whenever we get into an argument. He ALWAYS calls on his way home from work to see if there is anything that I might need or our 1 year old son might need. He sends me flowers just because, and he has brought me breakfast in bed everyday for the past week because he loves me! We have been married for a little over 4 years, and he ALWAYS tells me he loves me and that I am his soulmate. He ALWAYS tries hard...and best of all, he ALWAYS kisses me good night. I love him so much and don't know what I did to deserve him...he truly is the best!
What a great idea! I looooooove to brag about my guy :-) My hubby is a newbie hubby (we've only been married for 10 1/2 months) but I know the difference b/t a good one & bad one. I was married b/f & had a horrible 1st marriage that involved at lot of emotional & substance abuse & infidelity on his part so after 5 years of trying, we divorced. A few years later I met & married my husband wonderful (new) husband Vincent. He's carried me through so much old baggage when he didn't have to & he's been the best emotional & spiritual supports I could ask for. He's my protector when I don't want the world to see my old "battle wounds" & he introduced abundant laughter back into my life again. I don't know where I'd be without him & I'm so glad I won't have to find out. He's an amazingly hard worker, faithful husband & follower of Christ & spiritual leader for our household. I can't wait to begin a family with him too b/c I know our children will have an amazing father to look up to & model after. My hubby is the best gift/reward God could have ever given me after all I'd been through in my past! :-)
My husband Chris is a quiet, unsung hero in my mind! He is very humble, very soft spoken, but thoughtful in so many ways! A perfect example...just the other day, he and my 5 year old were just "hanging out" and ended up at the mall (not sure how that happened, but it did). My son found a toy he desperately wanted...with his birthday just days away, his Dad told him to put it on his birthday list. Now, this toy was at Ross...you know how Ross is...there one day, gone the next! My husband had the forethought to "hide" the toy without Jack knowing, and then actually went back later without our son and bought it! Now we will have the gift of all gifts, because Dad was just being Dad! Love it!
My husband had his first surgery *ever* last week. Most women say that men are such babies when it comes to pain/illness/etc. I have to say though, my husband has been a real trooper! Even though he's been sore, he's tried really hard not to add to my workload; he's made sure he's helped around the house as much as he can so I didn't have even *more* work to do. He's also used the time he's been down to spend a lot of quality time with our two daughters.
I appreciate him even more now!
My hubby is the best for so many reasons but I would have to say the number one reason I love him is his heart for GOD! He is constantly striving to be the best he can be through the grace of God and his heart is to serve! On top of all that he is the funniest guy and he is a hottie too! ;)
Thanks for the chance to brag about my best friend. :) My husband is full time Air National Guard and has deployed many times. On one particular deployment about 4 years ago he went through a bible study of the Song of Solomon. He knew he was going to miss my birthday so he wrote me a song. Now my husband is so not musical...in any way, lol. So he wrote the lyrics out and sent them to my brother (who does happen to be musical) to put the words to music and record it. It was then delivered to me on my birthday.
I hope it's okay to share some of the lyrics,
Like a peaceful white dove
God has awakened my love
I've embraced the gift of time
You are the prayer of mine
For I was searching for one
who would steal my heart
With just one glance
I didn't have a chance
Oh it burns like a blazing fire
the mighty flame of our desire
Our love carries me on wings of grace
I've finally found my place.
And for our last anniversary, he took the old recording to a recording studio who cleaned up all the fuzz of the original recording and re-gifted it to me because he wanted me to remember his committment in the words that he wrote.
My husband is wonderful. We are newlyweds but we have already been through quite a bit. After 1 month of marriage, my husband lost his job. This of course was unexpected but my husband stayed positive an upbeat the entire time. To make matters better, he took on all of the house chores even the dreaded bathroom! The only thing I did was cook:) Last month, the Lord blessed my husband with a position making more than he was before. I know it was because of his faithfulness while he was out of work. I love my husband and his presence in my life has been such a blessing. He is truly the best!
My husband is one in a million. Not only has he supported me through infertility and three adoptions (and a fourth on the way!) but he has amazed me throughout our marriage. One Halloween when I was feeling overwhelmed, he designed, made a pattern and sewed a Corduroy bear costume for our daughter.
Tony is not a perfect man. He's not always the sweetest man, or most thoughtful. He never remembers to pick up his socks and put them in the laundry basket. But he is who God has given me to make me a better, more loving, more holy person. I am proud of him because he does not let his imperfections defeat him.
To me, he will always be my "Fitzwilliam Darcy", "Edward Cullen", "Seeley Booth", and "Aragorn". Flawed, but perfect for me and perfect for our family.
My husband took a new job in a new city (even a new state) to allow me to be a stay at home home mom, he is so awesome!!
My husband is amazing man and a WONDERFUL father. He is so very giving. He treats me like a queen even when I don't deserve it. He's successful in his job, he's the best handy man/carpenter a girl could ask for (if I dream it he can build it!), and such a loving father. Even though he works a 9-5 and I stay home with the kids he's willing to help me with cooking and housework whenever I'm stressed. I don't know what we'd do without him!
My husband is a keeper!! This past weekend he sent me and 3 friends off in his big van for a scrapping weekend in Gatlinburg! He is so sweet he even cleaned it, got the van ready and while I was gone he decorated the whole outside for Halloween and bought me mums for the front porch...he is a sweetie!
Great idea Erin! As wives we should always be uplifting and not tearing down our husbands, at home and in public as well!
My husband Mark is amazing. He is a full time student but also works to support us, in addition to serving in our church and meeting with younger men to encourage and disciple them. He is so busy and doesn't get much sleep, but he never complains and he is always full of joy. He is the absolute best!!!
I honestly feel amazingly blessed to have my husband in my life. We met when we were 13 y/o & were both counselors at a church kid's camp! We remained friends through snail mail & messenger & saw each other a few times a year. 7-8 yrs later, we talked about dating. We became official on May 1st & a week later, my mom died of cancer. He flew down from NY on Wednesday, drove 4 hrs to his Mom's house for the night, drove 2 hrs Thurs. morning to attend my Mom's funeral & after burial site, drove 2 hrs in opposite direction to catch flight back to NY. I knew then I was going to marry him. He's always been selfless. He's the sweetest as can be. He has such great talent. Right now, he works full-time for a local music store in marketing/advertising, part time for our church as worship pastor & creative arts (graphic/web designing), he's a full time student for business/marketing, and a full time husband & daddy! he's a really hard worker & pretty busy. and i just thank God for his sacrifice & for his hard work. he really loves our little family & does great as a provider, husband, & daddy. this week, i had to travel for work.. so on top of everything he was a single daddy for a few days! and they both survived & felt great to know my baby was well taken care of! even if i don't win a gift certificate, i am glad i can share about my wonderful hubby with you. and sometimes, life gets a little crazy that we forget to take the time to let them know that we appreciate them..and don't take what they do for granted. so thank you for letting me be reminded of my wonderful hubby! ;-)
Hi Erin!
Great idea! As wives we should always be uplifting our husbands, not tearing them down - whether at home or in public :)
My husband Mark is amazing. He is a full-time student, but he also works to support us. In addition to this, he serves in our church and meets with younger men to encourage and disciple them. He is also a devoted husband and always makes time for special date nights. He is very busy, and doesn't get much sleep, but he never complains and is always full of joy.
He is the absolute best!!
If he hadn't married me and given us our two beautiful children, he would have had a much more distinguished and prominent carreer. However, he chose the path of Family Man- yet in his own mind he is the highest-ranking and highest esteemed of them all. And has never looked back at that decision.
Last night hubby came home and had a "honey-do" list a mile long. He'd been busy at work, but he got started as soon as he got home. While he was cutting the grass he moved my car to cut the driveway and noticed that I didn't have much gas. He left home and went to fill up my car so that I wouldn't have to do it this morning at 6am with the baby. He also brought home some dinner since the baby was having a fussy evening and I hadn't gotten dinner started yet. Made my night! And my morning today since I didn't have to stop for gas!
Sorry ladies, but I have the best husband in the world!! =) After 12 years of marriage I love the little things he does to show me he still cares for me - like drying the dishes, or taking over bath duty for the kids, or taking the kids to McDonalds when I need some quiet time. or when we drive somewhere seperately he waits to make sure my car starts before he drives away, and always supporting me in my hobbies. I know things like this seem little sometimes, but the little things are the spice of life! After more than a decade of maariage they make my heart go pitter-pat still!
I love my husband. He complements me so well. He always makes extra effort to spend time with me (this means the world to me) even though he is in medical school. He has such a humble serving heart. He loves cooking and sometimes takes over the kitchen while I'm cooking or baking. I could never dream up anyone who is better for me than my adoring husband already is <3
ps. I love what your husband did for you. It's amazing how something so simple can make our hearts overflow with love...
My husband is wonderful. Even in the midst of having a baby, buying a house and losing his job he is able to praise God. He has been an example to me, living out 1 Thessalonians 5:18 " In everything give thanks..." What a blessing he has been in this time of worry and stress.
My husband is very patient and hardworking. Our ongoing joke is that for our 10th anniversary he took me on a cruise, for our 15th he 'gave' me our 3rd son, and for our upcoming (next week)20th anniversary, he's buying me a house (we've rented for the last 11 years). I've told him that he's going to have to come up with something REALLY big for our 25th to top the wonderful life he's given me already. I love him - 'nuff said. : )
My husband is young at heart and so fun. He is constantly making me laugh. Every day with him is an adventure. He is my best friend by every definition! I struggle with anxiety, and on the days I can't seem to make ends meet he is always there to pick up the pieces, wipe my tears and tell me it's okay. The spontaneous love letter here and there never hurts either! He is always willing to sacrifice and serve for others -- not just myself -- which I love so much! It reminds me if he'd do it for a stranger in a heartbeat, than I never have to worry! He is an angel, and a shining example of Christ to me! I love him! :)
