The ceremony for mom was beautiful.
I love this picture of her as a teenager...
and in her 20's...
she loved to oil paint...
aren't these amazing?
her 4 boys (I was a surprise 11 years later!)...
My dad and my brothers...
Thanks to all that came to the service,
brought meals,
sent flowers,
called,
emailed,
left comments,
twittered...
we appreciated all of it :)

She's stunning. What a natural beauty she was. You were so very very lucky and I'm certain you were the apple of her eye. You should be comforted by the knowledge that you brought her buckets and buckets of joy and enriched her life deeply.
I'm so sorry for the loss of you Mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
She is absolutely gorgeous! What a wonderful woman!
So sorry for your loss sweetie. What gorgeous photos of your mom. I'm sure she's looking down on you right now. Kori xoxo
That is a great photo of your family! Sending thoughts your way!
Erin, You have been in my thoughts and prayers. I love the pics of your mom..I have some younger pics of my mom that I treasure also. It is nice to think that you have paintings of hers to cherish. My mom was a sewer and quilter and we all have special things that she made for us. I slept with a quilt that she had made for me every night for a long time after she passed away.
It is funny that you can be so connected and feel so much for people that you have never met, but that is our crazy blog world. I have enjoyed the photos of your family and watching your business grow. Now I feel we have something in common in trying to deal with the loss of our wonderful mothers.
It does get a little bit less painful as the months go on. But I do believe that losing a Mother is something you never really get over - you just learn how to live in the world in a different way.
your mom was stunning and a great artist!
