We have been living in a hotel for a few days, we moved in Friday and hope to go home tomorrow. We had wood floors put in almost the entire downstairs of our house (it was either carpet or wood floors as our current carpet was yuck, and we chose wood floors!) , thus making it un-liveable
3 GREAT things about hotel life:
1. housekeeping everyday (amazing!)
2. the free breakfasts
3. the indoor pool for the kids with a hot tub for me :)
3 not so great things about hotel life:
1. not having the comforts of home
2. not being able to send the kids out to the backyard
3. the confined space
It has been an interesting adventure...
but we are all ready to go home!!!

i bet you are! lovely pictures!
LOVE the picture of your youngest lying on the pillow with the pacifier in her mouth. Great photo, but you always seem to take great pics. Good eye!
beautiful photos!
The pictures are precious. I'm sure the kids are loving the adventure. Enjoy your new floors. We just installed prefinished upstairs and I am loving only have 2 rooms of carpet (library/study) in the house! It is noisier though...just be forwarned.
That last photo is amazing :)
(first of all... yay for wood floors!)
I remember during one of our moves (we moved a lot due to my dad being in the military...) - we lived in a hotel for about a month! I was 8 & my sister was 6. It was a lot of fun! but... we couldn't wait to be able to get into our new house.
gorgeous photos of your family and i bet you are super excited to see your new floors! how fun!
smiles,
gina
What a fun adventure! But yeah, I can understand wanting to go home. :)
We want to refinish our hardwood floors, and I've debated staying with my parents (pretty far away from both of our jobs and my daughter's preschool) or in a hotel. Since my parents don't have a pool OR a hot tub, though... ;)
my family just did that for 2 monthes. it sucks big time gook luck with it all
Those are amazing photos! You have me debating on moving into a hotel for a short while, just for the housekeeping!
pretty pictures to capture such an awesome time together!!
Wow! I love the pictures. Great shots!!
Go Huskers! I [heart] you more knowing you are from NE!! :)
Your little one is so sweet! I love the first shot of her!
I'm a hotel lover but I hope you're back at home with your beautiful new floors!
