Mom's day.

I woke up to breakfast in bed- the kids made me toast and eggs, then Eden ate my toast and left lots of crumbs in our sheets for us :) I got lots of hugs and kisses and home made cards and flowers.

Then we went down to OKC for Mother's Day lunch to celebrate with my mom and family- dad, brothers and niece and nephew. The moms beat the dads at spades :)

We found 2 geocaches in the woods behind my parents house- the top right picture is one of the ones we found- it was attached to the tree with an arrow! How cool is that!?! Caleb spotted it first.

Ended the day with a chocolate cheesecake from the kids and Ryan :)

What did you do on Mother's Day?

sounds like a much needed break and fun from your very busy schedule leading up to it!

my daughter and i celebrated together, as it was her sixth birthday as well. she was born on mother's day six years ago!

it was just a lovely day of being with the six people i love more than anything else!

Wish I could say my Mother's Day started out well, but with my husband currently deployed and his internet deciding not to work, it wasn't the best start. However, my parents and three daughters (all under three) gave me the best Mother's Day to date. Hand prints and foot prints of my girls, colors done by the older two. BOTH my mom and MIL LOVED their gift certificates to The Vintage Pearl (my Mom I KNEW would love it, but my MIL I wasn't sure, so that was a nice surprise). Did end up getting to video chat with my husband and then went out to sushi for dinner.

What a wonderful Mother's Day you had. I love all your pictures you take too!
I celebrated by first going to church. My girls all came over afterwards for lunch. My two older girls are married, one has a little one the other is pregnant. Our youngest daughter is in college, so it was a nice treat to have them all here for lunch. I received cards, flowers, a 'grandma' book and some wonderful homemade chocolate cherry and coconut brownies...ahh yeah, Life is Good!

I got to sleep in and then coffee and my laptop delivered to me in bed! My hubby also took care of the making/feeding/cleaning up of meals with my 18 month old triplets. That was the nicest part of the day!!

My husband sent me back to bed, took care of the baby, and made me breakfast in bed.

we had clayton's dedication at church. all our family came to celebrate...it was perfect. to think that we were just 2 months into our homestudy last year on mother's day & he's already been home now for 6 months is completely amazing! it was a perfect day with our 5 kids!

That chocolate cheesecake looks awesome. We are going to try the geocaching. Looks like good family fun and there are plenty where I live. Thanks for sharing....I wouldn't have known about this otherwise.
