us time.

Friday night...

I call the babysitter.

so Ryan and I can sneak away.

just the 2 of us go
out to dinner,
or a movie,
or a little shopping,
or whatever...

{we hang out}

and we always end at Village Inn.

date night

for coffee and pie.

{I get chocolate, he gets rhubard a la mode}

we talk with no interruptions,
we plan,
we laugh
we talk business,
we talk family,
we chat about Disney (you know, priorities).

just a couple of hours of me and him time.

where we reconnect and unwind.

and get rejuevenated
for the next week :)

Life is so busy,
we have to make alone time a priority.

And I look forward to it every week :)

I have been trying to make "Mom and Dad" time more of a priority. I think it's very important! I love that you end up at Village Inn. ;) Have a wonderful evening with your man!!!

Sounds good to me... my hubs and I plan to do things... we usually just end up talking.. sometimes we go park and watch the stars... talk. It's nice after 22 years and 3 kids (still have a 19 and 13 y/o @home)seems like we never get a word in at home!

Sounds great!! That is wonderful that you two have actually made time to do this... so much of the time these important outings don't happen. :)

And, yes...Disney is important. ;)
