Tessa was extremely excited about going to school and having homework.
I love that she mixes up her d's and b's.
That she makes w's twice as long as they should be.
She has a tough time keeping her lowercase letters under those dotted lines on the paper.
She loves to read.
And she always has funny stories to tell me about her day... totally different from the boys!
After homework tonight we had a "when I grow up I wanna..." talk, and she said she wants to make jewelry with me so that we will spend our "whole days together". Melts my heart... and so she got an extra cookie for dessert :)

Tessa! What a sweet girl you are! :) You remind me of the kids n my kindergarten class. They mix up their d's & b's too...make the w's extra "long," etc.
Kindergarten is such a special year & it sounds like you are really enjoying it!
I remember when I was in kindergarten - ever since then I always said that I wanted to be a teacher. Well, now I'm the teacher aide in kindergarten - and my mom is the teacher! So...I get to spend my days with her (:

She is so adorable :) Isn't it so sweet how they want so badly to become little students? If they only knew the long road ahead of them :) She's the perfect little school girl!!
