me: "Eden, say Momma."
Eden: "Dadda."
Me: "no, Eden say MOMMA."
Eden: "DADDA."
Me: "MOMMMMM-MA."
Eden: (looks me straight in the eye, big grin on her face.) "Dadda."
*sigh*

I had a very similar conversation with my daughter this morning. I love this picture!
My daughter did the very same thing when she was younger. And now she says momma and I can't get her to stop saying it...over and over again. Haha
hee hee...I taught Sam to say Dada first! That way if he cries out in the middle of the night I can roll over and say, "how sweet, he's calling for you!" Works like a charm ;)
take a bow Jenn
Ooooh Jenn, you are so smart!
I love how she "knew it" too - she knew she wanted you to say Momma...! :) Sounds like she's a Daddy's girl...maybe? Well, I'm definitely a daddy's girl, not a bad thing to be! LOL
And - 9 months! Wow. Just think - you carried her for 9 months...and now you've been carrying her (in your arms) for another 9! :D
Adorable picture! And priceless conversation!!
You gave me a good giggle!! laurie
My goodness, she is adorable! My lady seems to hollar for Dadda even more when she's unhappy with me.
Erin,
I just announced the winner of the giveaway you ran on my blog...I've emailed the winner - and as soon as I get her info. I'll forward it on to you! :) Thanks again for doing this, you are SO SWEET! :)
...okay - Erin, I've heard back from the winner & I've emailed you her info :)
9 months! My DD is 11 1/2. She still barely says, "Mumm mumm" and I come running like, "Hey-- She wants me!" lol. It's always Dada or Bye bye :)
lol. I had the same conversation with every one of mine. What a cutie! :)
My son did the same thing to me, and so we turned it into a game. I'd say, "Say Mama." He'd say, "Dada." Then I'd say, "Nooo, say Mama." Then he'd giggle and say, "Dada!"
That picture is totally frameable...oh my goodness!!! I miss my kiddos being that small! She is a doll!!! :)
I can't believe she is 9 months already! How the time flies!!!
haha...i was just going to say something similar to jenn's comment...don't worry, when it's 3 am and she's wanting some cuddle time, she'll say mama with amazing clarity. ;)
My son and I have had the same conversation - countless times. Gotta love 'em!
