Every morning Ryan leads us in a family devotional,
we sign a praise and worship song,
and then we pray together for our day.

Normally Eden is still sleeping,
but this morning she was up
and joined us at the dining room table.

We tend to a bit get distracted by her,
but she makes us all laugh
and giggle,
so her little distraction is good sometimes,
I think God laughs a bit at her too :)

This morning I was able to snap a couple of pics of her
at prayer time,
where she's praying...



and then I caught her peeking... :)



She makes us smile :)

I'm heading to a field trip with Tessa's class today
to the apple orchard.

he's taking orders.

After school yesterday, Jonah (age 7) brings me a note.

He says, "Here is Makena's order.
Just make it and put it in my backpack
and I will give it to her."

Makena (one of the little girls in Jonah's 2nd grade class)
has written out her order with the names for the necklace,
it's for her mom,
and to bring it to school when done.

How cute is that???

The grand opening was a huge success and we had a blast! Thanks to everyone that came out, hope you all enjoyed it too!

and we got to see our customers face to face!

antiqued to a darker silver finish,

her priorities are straight.

Tessa played soccer saturday afternoon
(our team won 6-0!)
and then she cheered for her first football game ever,
for Jonah's team saturday evening.

I asked her if she had fun cheering.

She said yes.

I asked, which do you like better, soccer or cheering?

She said soccer.

Exactly.

:)

(I grew up a tomboy playing soccer and made fun of my cheer-leading friends, so having a daughter that wants to cheer is a little tough/weird for me. Couldn't tell her no, we felt she should get to try it, but praying she is a hard core soccer player as she gets older!

I have to admit that she looked pretty cute in the outfit though...)

a mega milestone.

Jonah (age 7 1/2) finally lost his first tooth after football practice last night!

This is a BIG deal,
I think he's the last one in his 2nd grade class to lose a tooth
and he's been wiggling his teeth
in hopes of finding a loose one for months!

The tooth fairy left him $4,
he's stoked :)

Tomorrow we have a saturday full of 2 soccer games
(Jonah and Tessa- I'm Tessa's coach),
and 2 football games- Caleb plays in one (he's the quarterback!) and Ryan is his coach,
and the other game Jonah plays in (he's a running back!)
while Tessa cheers!

A busy day but we love it!

Sundays we try to spend together as a family,
but we also have some last minute stuff for the store to do
(opening in one week! ACK!)
