My mom.

My mom unexpectedly passed away and went to heaven friday morning.

Please keep my family in your prayers, especially my dad. He has lost his best friend of over 50 years.

Yesterday Jill and I went shopping for the new store.



We didn't buy much but collected some good ideas :)

I love these flowers as an accent color.

it's official.

We have keys...


to our new studio/store!

We have a little bit of construction that needs to be done before we move in.

Which is hard because we are all READY to move in!

Our current space is very small. We moved in with just 4 of us! We have a few more people, more supplies, more furniture... more stuff.


Remember this picture I took back in April?



It was just a random available space that we found one night walking back to our car after eating dinner. Just for fun we peeked in the windows and then drove away to go look for our space...

...ironically, this ended up being our space!

Soon people will be peeking in the windows to see our displays.

It's a cute little shop.

And it's very surreal to me.

I had no clue we would ever open a storefront.

It's another leap of faith.

I'm excited.
And nervous.
A little unsure.
Kinda overwhelmed.

Trying to plan... without knowing what to expect.

But I have lots of great help
and we are all ready
to start this new journey :)

dad's day. [ a giveaway! ]

Over the years I have TRIED to give Ryan something sentimetal from the kids for Father's Day. Ryan loves pictures, and his office at work is full of pictures of our family! One of the first Father's Day presents was a picture cube that still sits on his desk...

A couple of years ago I took 5" x 7" pictures our our 3 kids (Eden wasn't born yet) each holding up a sign that they had made themselves spelling out "I heart Dad!" Then before I framed them the kids each wrote their name on the white matte- would also be neat to have them write a little note to Dad there!



Last year the individual picture thing was NOT working- Eden refused to hold up a sign long enough for me to snap a picture! Thankfully I had recently taken a picture of the kids with Ryan, and this time had the older 3 kids write a note on the white matte... (picture is an 8" x 10")



Ryan has these pictures up on a wall in his office :)

This week I worked from home a bit, and my girls got a kick out of pre-stuffing the envelopes for me!

camp, the "something new" and a coupon!

Yesterday was one of those days where you wake up and the next thing you know it's time for bed! A total blur. Anyone else have days like that?

Sunday we dropped the boys off at our church's camp for a few days...



It has been so quiet around here! I miss them (alot!) but I'm sure they are having a blast.

Tessa is really enjoying their absence :)

We pick them up tomorrow and I'm anxious to hear how it went. This is the first overnight camp for all of us, and I thought for sure we would get a call to come pick up one of them by now :)

We are working extra hard in the studio these days- we have had a surge in orders for our little business and our trying our best to keep up! As we grow so does our wait time, but only for a brief time. Our normal 2-3 weeks is running closer to 3-4 weeks, but please know that we are trying our best to get caught up and get the wait time back to normal while also giving careful attention to each order.

For the past couple of months we have been completely redoing our master bath. (All 6 of us have been sharing the kids bathrrom upstairs!) It originally was 2 very 80's style bathrooms separated by a wall but joined by a door.

We knocked down the wall and demolished everything... then they started from scratch and rebuilt a whole new bathroom!


I love pedestal sinks, and now Ryan and I each have our own. The mirrors above our sinks are secret medicine cabinets, so we have a place to hide our necessities :)

Something amazing- they even added a window to our previously windowless bathroom, so we have lots of natural light streaming in!

And it's right above our new jacuzzi tub... I tested it out last night and was in there for over an hour... heaven!

We were out for a drive and this little guy was trying to cross the street. We stopped and helped him get to safety.
