our new cross!

For those that noticed our new cross stamp in the post below, here it is:





A sterling oval is stamped with our exclusive hand sketched cross and layered on top of a large circle with names (or a scripture ) stamped around the edge. Both charms are hammered around the edges and then hung on a sterling chain!

It will be up on the website later this week!

Our Mother's Day cutoff has passed- it was Tuesday and we have alot of work to do :) We will be working around the clock for the next week and a half... but the idea that we are making gifts that other Moms will be opening on Mother's Day is awesome and so rewarding to us!

She likes to pull all of the toilet paper off the roll and decorate the bathroom with it.

She applauds me when she sees me go.

I love how mama and daddy goose keep their babies in between them at all times, their protective cover. And they hissed at me if I got too close!

I go to bed dreaming of how it might look- stained concrete floors in chocolate brown, textured tuscan style walls, granite counters... and a large sign out front with our new logo, of course!

God has placed a huge vision in our hearts for The Vintage Pearl, and this is the next step to get us there :)

I call the babysitter.

so Ryan and I can sneak away.

just the 2 of us go
out to dinner,
or a movie,
or a little shopping,
or whatever...

{we hang out}

and we always end at Village Inn.



for coffee and pie.

{I get chocolate, he gets rhubard a la mode}

we talk with no interruptions,
we plan,
we laugh
we talk business,
we talk family,
we chat about Disney (you know, priorities).

just a couple of hours of me and him time.

where we reconnect and unwind.

and get rejuevenated
for the next week :)

Life is so busy,
we have to make alone time a priority.

And I look forward to it every week :)

planning ahead.

With mother's day orders in full swing, I know this is going to be a busy month! For easiest family survival, planning ahead is a must!

so...

the fridge is stocked and meals are planned.

clothes/sports uniforms are washed and folded.

closets are cleaned. (out with the winter, in with the summer! LOVING the 80 degree days we've been having!)

we are ready for the week :)

I feel so much better if I get some of my "Mom duties" done ahead of time, makes it easier on Ryan and the kids when I'm working! Laundry and groceries are a big deal in our home :)

How do you plan ahead for a busy week?

Our church has an amazing Easter production- if you live in the Tulsa area you should definately come! I cry every year :)
