springtime

The buds are blooming,
the air is warmer,
it's Spring!

I have switched to flip flops and capris, yay!

I just love the sounds and smells of spring- birds singing and fresh flowers blooming :)

And it also means that soccer season is in full swing! Our saturdays are now packed with soccer games, LOVE it!!! We pack the cooler with goodies and drag out our chairs to root our teams on- Caleb's is the "Volt", Jonah's is the "Gators" and Tessa's (which I coach) is the "Redhots"!

Caleb turns 9 today!!!

hard. to. believe...



Caleb Ryan was born weighing 9 pounds, 10 ounces!

The nurses called him "bruiser".

Ryan and I went to the hospital around 7 am because I was having contractions and he was born at 10:36 am.

Our lives were totally changed forever!


(he just looooves when I take his picture, can't you tell? hehe)

We celebrated yesterday with his friends playing laser tag at Laser Quest and he has requested that I bring up a "cookie cake" at school today :)

Ryan and I got him a remote controlled boat- I'm not sure who is more excited about playing with it tonight- Caleb or Ryan!?!

Yesterday mother nature was good to us.

It was 85 degrees.

Sunny.

Perfectly hot.

So we made a run to the ice cream shop.

And Eden got her very own cone.

I ordered her a small...

san antonio snippets

Visited Sea world, the kids now know who Shamu is...



Conquered Six Flags, Caleb now loves roller coasters and rode them all with Ryan and I (we took turns)...



learned that face paint is fun but best done AFTER the water rides or else their faces will be smeared the rest of the day... (scary pirate, eh?)



walked the Riverwalk and saw the Alamo...



we had a GREAT time :)

We saw Shamu, we rode 342 roller coasters and slept in every morning :)

But it's so good to be home!

We got home last night and today was cRaZy hectic... and I'm still trying to catch up on emails.

Plus I'm exhausted :) I need a vacay from a vacay :P

leaps, bounds and a necklace

The Vintage Pearl has been growing by leaps and bounds!

It's so fun and exciting, yet a little overwhelming... we can't seem to hire and train fast enough :) In Jaunary our wait to ship time was about a week, definately less than 2 weeks... and right now it's 3-4 weeks. We are working extra hard and extra hours to get all caught up, thank you to all who have been so patient and understanding during this growing season!

If you are planning to order for Mother's Day, the earlier the better! Not sure of the exact cutoff date but right now it looks like early April, so please plan accordingly!

Today Ryan went up to the studio to work on a few things- we needed a bigger stamping table so more of us could stamp all at once. Caleb (my almost 9 year old) went with him and returned with a necklace for me he had made all by himself!
