I mega heart Heather Bailey's fabrics.

I have loved them for years (since the ebay days!) and if I could sew then we would have her fabrics all over the place- pillows, curtains, tea towels, dresses... serious obsession!


So I was delighted when Sheylynn sent us some new camera strap covers in Heather Bailey's newest fabrics! She sent us three (we traded her for some jewels!) and I snagged the blue. It's my favorite color afterall :)



I love how she funktified it a bit with the ruffle and the lace... adds some fun girly flare! They are beautiful (and padded, so comfy!) and unique... find more designs in her new store.

The stomach flu went through our house this week- first Eden, then Ryan then me and then Tessa. Our fingers are triple crossed that Caleb and Jonah don't get it, looking good so far :)

Monday was a gorgeous day, and the kids were home from school, so we went to the zoo. Eden loved it, she practiced all of her animal noises and especially loved roaring at the tigers...



I hope the nice weather sticks around, because after all of the snow and cold temperatures we have had I am ready for sun and warm days and flip flops and ladybugs and flowers!

kitchen inspiration

We are in the process of picking out new countertops and backsplash, which will change the entire look and feel of our kitchen... kinda scary! So afraid to pick wrong!

We have white cabinets, dark brown hardwood floors, black/stainless steel appliances.

I'm being drawn to pictures where the counters are dark and the backsplash is white... very clean and simple...
