This morning I was rushing around getting ready to take the kids to school.

Caleb sees my eye liner on the kitchen counter and brings it to me and says, "here Mom, don't forget your face paint."

Um, thanks. Gotta have my "face paint".

fall & soup.

I love fall...



and I really LOVE fall soups!

To make it more fun for the kids I serve it in bread bowls! Just grab a loaf of french bread (or whatever your favorite with soup is) and cut it into "bowls". Fill with your favorite soup or chili.

I get 3-4 bowls per loaf and the kids love to "eat their bowl"!

And I love how easy it is :)

This one is really good in a bread bowl!

Anyone have some {easy} soup recipes to share? I need some new ones, please share!

what we've been up to.

We've been very busy.

We have been working from our home for years and decided it was time to get a studio office away from our house. I needed to be able to draw a line between home and work and with work sitting in the next room that was getting tough! So...



We rented some space.

It's a mile from home.

And across the street from Ryan's office!

And it's in back of this cute little office house...



We are still getting everything up and organized.

In between orders and emails.

Gifting some celebs.

And shopping in Dallas, which we already had planned beforehand.

And getting ready for a show (we will be at the Junior League Holiday Mart at the UMAC in Tulsa this thursday-sunday!)

We are also working on a new website... we already outgrew the current one. The new one will be similar, but a little different :) And ready soon (I hope!)

The really fun thing is they put our name out on the sign! Makes me feel like the business is more REAL to see it up on a sign. Is that silly? Too fun!

So I apologize if I am slow to answer emails... I am trying hard to keep up, I promise!

We are also doing our absolute BEST to get orders out ASAP! I apologize for the longer than usual wait we have right now, thanks to everyone that has been oh-so patient and understanding, we truly have the BEST customers :)

We have a new design (and I am thinking it's time for a giveaway, don't ya think?) very soon, like maybe even later today...

getaway

Ryan whisked me away to Dallas for some r&r and outlet mall shopping! I am posting this from a highway in Texas on my phone- isn't technology amazing? Will be back with the Scentsy winner and some fun news soon! Hope you all have a FAB weekend!!!

Our friend Jack had an old, unused playset sitting in his warehouse and asked if we wanted it. We said um, yes please! So over the weekend it was brought over, painted (almost looks new!) and put up in the backyard and it is fabulous!

The best thing- it has a genuine NASCAR tire for a tire swing! (the boys think this is so cool).
