11 months today...

today Eden is 11 months.

wow.



so we had a little "photo shoot".

photo shoot = me chasing her around the yard with my camera. now that she's walking that has become alot harder... she either walks away from the camera or wants to get right up to my face- usually for kisses.

the girl loves to gives kisses :)



she found this hat today. I saw her trying to put it on so I put it on her head.



she wore the hat all day long. it may be her "thing".

tessa likes shoes. eden likes hats :)

hard to believe we will be having a birthday party next month... seems like we just went to the hospital with no name!

Jonah graduated from kindergarten last night...



he aced his 2 lines that we've been practicing...



received his "diploma"...



and then JUMPED off the stage... who needs stairs when you're this excited?

his cousin graduated also, they're in the same class, God bless their teacher- together they can be quite a handful :)



gma and gpa e gave him a new bible (which he loves and just HAD to take to school for show and tell today!)...



and we celebrated at the school with cake and a grape soda...



then went to ihop for ice cream and pancakes (and amazingly all 4 kids went right to sleep when we got home, even after the sugar rush!)...



congrats Jonah!!! we are so proud of you!

Jonah's nibbles...

Jonah and I were playing frisbee the other day and the frisbee hit him in the chest.

"Ouch," he said, "that hit my nibble."

Stiffling a smile I ask, "your what?"

Jonah pulls up his shirt to reveal his chest and points and says "my nibble."

"Where did you hear that word?" I ask.

"From Jackson," he replies (a cousin). "Jackson said these are my nibbles."

hmmm.... ok.

We'll go with that word, it works for me :)

happy { belated } mother's day!

I slept in and was woken up by the whole family bringing breakfast in bed, including the toast above, a banana, yogurt and Doritos (the Doritos were Jonah's idea).

And no, I did not have to eat the toast... I managed to sneak it into the trash while no one was looking :)

I got a bunch of homeade goodies from the kids, and a gift card to the Gap (will be heading there shortly!) Last week Caleb oh-so-casually asked me what my favorite store was, how sneaky he is!

We had a fun (and relaxing) day together, went to church, then out to lunch, and then visited my parents in OKC.

I'm getting caught up on emails and convos today, it was so nice to take the weekend off (especially after the mother's day rush week of last minute orders!). I took a nap saturday afternoon (which is something I never do!) and was in bed asleep last night by 9 pm! I must have been tired. Numerous 3 am nights will do that to ya I guess :)
