This was totally random out of nowhere. I just happened to be walking by the bottom of the stairs and my mushy mommy heart just melted :)


ps... "I love you googles googles" is what our family says to each other, meaning I love you the MOST that I can since a google is the biggest number there is :)

I took this pic tonight while playing with Eden. I am amazed that at almost 5 months she is already getting up on her knees and rocking and even scooting backwards a bit! It won't be too long before she will be cruising and into EVERYTHING!

We have ALOT of baby proofing to do...!

I used to use the upstairs guestroom when I was soldering, but now I have hung up my sodering iron-- for the most part, although it still comes out on rare/special occasions, like making these for Patty...





(her gorgeous Andalucia fabric is now available in stores!!! Go get some!)

So I stick to the kitchen counter. It allows me to be where the kids are while I work, which is off and on throughout the day.

I've even moved all of my supplies into the kitchen cabinets under the counter where I stamp. Hubbie LOVES this.

I have a new torch that I plan on playing with soon, not sure where THAT action will be going on... maybe a spot in the garage is where I'll end up? It's kinda cold out there though... but new ideas are brewing and coming soon :)

sneak peeks...

Thanks to everyone that came out for a free mini session yesterday, I had so much fun taking your pics! I was there pretty much all day long and got some great shots for my site. I have LOTS of pics to edit, but here are a couple of quick sneak peeks...

I've been trying to lose some baby weight.

When the kids weigh themselves we always make a big deal about how big they are. Because they want to be big.

So this morning while the boys were eating breakfast I tried to sneak on our digital scale to weigh myself. I always turn away and try to keep the light up numbers hidden- I could totally see them announcing my weight to anyone and everyone if they knew it (a total nightmare!)

Jonah managed to sneak over and catch a glimpse of the numbers and then announced,

"Wow, Mommy, that's alot! You are such a big girl!"

I *think* this was meant as a compliment....

first photo shoot...

Recently I did my first photo shoot with a kid other than my own!

Thankfully it was with a friend of mine and her daughter... because wouldn't you know that on my very first shoot I would forget my battery! I had it charging with my camera right next to it so I wouldn't forget it- unfortunately I still managed to grab my camera off the counter leaving the battery behind.

So. embarrassing.

I'm buying a backup battery ASAP!

But Kelly was so sweet about it and hung with the kids while I zipped home to get it.

We have a busy weekend... 2 soccer games and a football game today... and then tonight Ryan and I are dropping the kids off at my parents while we have a night out to watch the OU vs. Nebraska football game in Norman. Ryan is a Cornhusker fan, which makes for some fun rivalries in the Sooner State!

We may even try getting a hotel room and stay out all night! It's nice to get away every once in awhile, even if it's just for one night.
