a necklace for Eden... win one!

Eden will be one month old tomorrow.

Isn't that amazing?

It seems like just yesterday I was longing to hold her for the first time. Now she has outgrown her newborn diapers, she's already wearing 3-6 months clothes and is almost sleeping through the night... she sleeps from around 11 pm -4:30 am, eats, then goes back to sleep until about 9 am- not bad for 1 month :)

So for her one month "birthday" I made her first necklace...
Photobucket

A small sterling silver flower hand stamped, hung on a sterling chain with a single pearl dancing beside it.

The flower charm is slightly domed like a cup...

Photobucket

Win one for your special little girl... just tell sOmEtHiNg FuN about her!
A winner will be chosen at random :)

You can also find them in my shop!

I see you posted at 10:30 p.m. I remember like it was yesterday... waiting for my little girl to finish her last feeding of the day so I could tuck her in at 11:00, jump in bed myself, and pray for 6 hours of sleep! My daughter will be 27 next month. She has had an amazing year! We thought we had lost her to meth, but our prayers were answered - she will be clean and sober 3 years in October! She was a beautiful bride in January, has a great job that she loves, and she and her husband just moved into their first little house. Our God is an awesome God!

I enjoy your blog tremendously. You have a beautiful little family. I am anxiously awaiting my "Faith" necklace!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the necklace!! If I don't win, I will definitely be purchasing one.

Let's see...something fun about Peyton...there's lots. My favorite thing about her has to be her spitfire additude. She is a ham for the camera and absolutely loves her big brother. I think she is going to be a tomboy. Her favorite things to play with are cars, trucks, and balls.

I have a 2 year old daughter named Hendrix Maree, She is the light of my life after having 3 ruff and tuff boys. Hendrix is a princess at heart but when it comes right down to it, she will always be a Tomboy. A couple days ago I found her watching cartoons, wearing her brothers snow boots, Spider-man beanie and a pink fluffy dress. As I watched her, she pulled off her hat and pulled out a piece of Baloney and started to eat it... (What?...Where did that come from????)
I guess she will always be a tutu wearing princess-tomboy at heart but hey This is Life...
She would love her own little "honey" necklace, I'll cross my fingers!-Nena

Well, this is a little something fun about my youngest, who is now 16!

I can't remember what was going on in the house, but we were a family of 5, my husband and myself with 3 daughters!! We were all in the living room when we discovered our youngest wasn't there. All of us called her name............

in she sauntered, eating a 1lb block of butter, unwrapped of course so it was melting in her hand!

We all just about cried we were laughing and enjoying her so much!

I need to remember stories like this as she is going through a rough time during her 16th year.

What a beautiful prize.

I have 2 little girls! LOL. You knew that, though. ;)

Oldest: She is 6 years old. Can't believe it! I love everything about her, but, a couple things that really stick out... I love that she remembers EVERYTHING! I could promise her chocolate chip cookies, and 2 weeks later, she reminds me. LOL! She also loves to say, "bummer dude". How could you go wrong with that? LOL!

Youngest: She will be 2 in October. I love everything about her too, but the things that stick out... her wanting to wear her sister's shoe. Just one shoe. And walk around. Everyday all day [unless she is napping]. She LOVES to sit in the car in her seat, and sing to the music while I am driving. Too cute for words!

Erin, this necklace is so BEAUTIFUL! You never cease to amaze me! I need to order a necklace! SOOON! :)

My beautiful daughter Julia is turning 6 in two weeks, one of these necklaces would be the perfect gift.

She is constantly making us laugh and loves picking up cute little sayings like "I suppose..." and "You crack me up". She is starting first grade this year and I'm going to miss having her with me during the day!

My daughter's favorite thing is pasta. She wants to eat it dry, cooked, or anything in between. Her speech is delayed except in the pasta isle in the market. She rattles off spaghetti, rigatoni, ziti rigati, penne, and fettuccini with clarity and confidence. It is always a bright spot in an otherwise mundane chore.

Jessica said...

Ava is a sweet girl. She is almost three. She would do anything just to go to the grocery store in her pink cowgirl boots and cowgirl hat. :) She loves to be barefoot in the grass. She also loves to collect flowers for a small vase on her bedside table. :) She has a love for horsies and adores the two that God graced her with that live across the street. They belong to a sweet girl that lives there and we are able to visit them anytime we want, with carrots in hand of course. :)

What a joy. We actually call Ava our contagious joy. She brings laughter and smiles anywhere she goes. Oh and did I mention that she loves to dance...oh yes. And how fun would that dancing pearl look around her neck. :)

Your artistry is wonderful! Thanks for sharing it with the world. So glad to find your site.

It hink daily I remember the newborn days with my girls especially. They find the stories of their explosive poop and barf. They find it so amusing that they did that to Mommy and Daddy. It is cute. It will be more fun for them when this baby arrives, however I dont think they will be laughing when the explosive poop and barf come now???

My little girl is very confident in her sense of style. She wears whatever she wants. She might wear a pink shirt with a yellow skirt and a pair of cowboy boots. She likes to pick out her own clothes and thinks she looks good. I'm glad she has that sense of confidence. I never had it. I'm proud of her.

My favorite thing that she does is with her little brother (Grayson) who is 13 months--she calls him "BUddy" made that up on her own and she loves to "smack" him on the butt!! As if she was one of the boys playing baseball together! Ha! It's the funniest thing..oh..and she also thinks everything she has to say is "very important"..those are her favorite words! Thanks for letting us all brag on our little girls..it's fun reading everyones post!

I have 2 daughters. Amber (13) is so smart, she's taught herself how to speak Japanese and play real songs on her electric guitar. She just donated her long hair to locks of love. (tears!!) Abby (3) is the spitting image of Amber (only much chunkier) but alot different, she is adventurous, silly, and she loves to (try) to cook and wants to help "make a dinner" every day. I am very lucky indeed!

Before our gal Stink could read, we used to fudge her fortune cookie readings... After whatever the fortune was, we would add, "with animals" because she loved animals so much.
So her cookie might impart such gems as "Good things (with animals) are coming your way" or something of the sort.

Two days ago, she came sprinting into the house, her hands clasped in front of her, her eyes wide.
"We have to save it! We have to google 'baby mouse' and save it. Darn cat".
She had "rescued" an infant (eyes still closed) field mouse from the claws of the barn cat, (herself "rescued" by la stink when just a kitten and stuck in the engine of DH's truck). Stink named the poor mouse Maestro (mice-tro) and nursed it with an eyedropper and kitten formula (every two hours) for almost a full day before we were able to get it to a wildlife rehabilitator.
They told her she was a wildlife hero.
I don't remember reading a fortune that said "You will be a true hero (with animals)", but anything is possible.
Your work, as always, amazes me - the music on your blog makes me remember and smile.

What a beautiful necklace! I just found your blog and I'll enjoy following your adventures now.

My little girl is 2 1/2 now, and more fun than I ever imagined! I really do think it just keeps getting better. What's on my mind now is her calling smoothies "wows" since that was her reaction the first time she heard the blender. Today for the first first time she called it a "smoothie" and it's a bit bittersweet to see her baby terms exchnaged for the real ones.

She is the silliest little thing I have ever seen and I am so proud of her. Thanks for letting me brag!

Wow! I can't pick just one Daughter to post about...so I must post something special about each Daughter (I have 3)!

My sweet Chloe ~ Ahhhh...I remember being just 12 wks along with my first sweet angel & already having the nursery completed! Yes, I was a bit anxious to meet her, Jason (Hubby) was just as excited as I was! I have wanted to be a "Mama" since I was a little girl...so this was a dream come true! I cried tears of joy just at my first glimpse of her, I will always remember the nurse telling me from under her medical mask...Jennifer, she is exquisite!

My darling Hannah ~ Oh my playful, wonderful, all the time smiley Hannah! I wondered how in the world I could love someone else as much as I loved Chloe...well, the moment Hannah entered this world (before really), the love just came for her so naturally & all of my worries just washed away! I was so happy to have been blessed, yet again with such a beautiful Daughter!

My little, petite, funny Shelby ~ Wow! I must have saved the funniest for last! Shelby has been a constant joy since minute 1! Such an easygoing baby, darling toddler (most of the time, this year has been a bit tricky, lol!). I have felt so incredibly lucky to have three wonderful girls!! How could my Hubby & I be so blessed??? We still wonder...They are the absolute joys of my life! Shelby is the queen of "funny sentences", just hilarious & keeps us all in stitches! She is the smallest, literally very petite & just a total gem to be around & love!!!

Thanks for letting me share Erin...Happy 1 month Birthday Eden!!

Something special about my daughter Hadley, so I have to list just one?? She loves to follow me around while I am cleaning and act like she is cleaning. She has recently been vaccumming with me with her corn popper. It is so cute to see a 15 month old imitating you.

I LOVE that necklace!!

Don't you just love how independant and insistent your little girl can be? My youngest insists on wearing these red, patent leather, shiny slip on boots over all of her shoes lately. I have to give the girl credit for being consistent! She is my little "Savvy" girl - that is her nickname. You can see pics of the ever famous "sock boots" on my blog :)
Have a great night!

Something fun about my 19 month old daughter, Madeline...

She just started sleeping in her "big girl" bed and has been doing just ok, some nights are better than others...a couple of days ago, during one of her naps, our 6 yr old, Isabella, wanted to check on her. She went upstairs and ran back down laughing hysterically. Apparently, Madeline woke up from her nap, crawled off her bed and was laying in the doorway sticking her little hand under the crack of the door and all you could see were her teeny little fingers. It was pretty cute and we couldn't stop laughing and smothering her with kisses when we opened the door!

My two daughters are now mommy's themselves and I would love to win this for my beautiful granddaughter Abbey, who was 2 in February but truly seems more like a 4 yr old! Today while visiting her, she made me "lunch" and she was so adorable when she put on her cute princess chef's hat, apron, and oven mitts - we had so much fun but then we ALWAYS do!! Tks for the neat contest!!

When it turns midnight, my sweet baby girl will be 6 months old! The time goes so quickly, and I want to hold on to each passing day. Not only was her birthday special for bringing her to us, but it made our oldest daughter a big sister - and boy, what a champion she is. She can make her baby sister grin bigger even than Mommy or Daddy. She makes up silly songs to sing her. They share grins and giggles already. So, in honor of Hannah - my first baby girl and the first of three prayers answered for a sweet daughter!

Blessings on you Eden!

Erin, another great creation. I am so excited that I actually have girls (in the plural form) I never had a sister and they get to have what I never got the chance to experience. My Emmelyne is an obedient one. She likes to follow the rules and makes sure that everyone else does too. My Brooklyn is an amazing reader. She has read more books in her 11 years that I have in my 30+. Thanks for doing this fun giveaway.

My little girl is a world citizen.
She loves foods and entertainment from different countries.
For Halloween ,she wears international costumes.
She'll order sushi and Thai iced tea the way some kids order Happy Meals.
It's a good thing she reads well, because some of the movies she likes have subtitles.
I adore her and she's growing up into an interesting person and she'll be a traveler and have lots of adventures when she grows up.

My daughter is a total drama queen! One day, she came to me at the grocery store, pinched my but and told me I was a hot mama! I also belted her from the shock of being pinched and didn't know it was her at first. A couple nearby had a very good laugh from her comments. She had repeated what her Dad had told me the day before! She's a total cutie!

My baby girl turns one YEAR next month and I would love for her to have a vintage pearl necklace to celebrate with! She is always decked out with girly accessories - headband, bracelet, painted toes, bejeweled binky clip. I can't seem to follow that "take one off" accessory rule with her - they're all too cute. The best part? She tolerates them all and practically never tries to remove them. She even holds out her wrist when I take out her bracelet, she is such a GIRL.

The baby copies everything her big sister does, and is a real spitfire...she acts more like a 3 year old than a baby!
Joy, laughter and amazement is what they have brought to my life.

Last Saturday, Meredith did something naughty involving a pink crayon and the television set. ;o) As DH was discussing with her why and how she would be punished for this naughtiness, she looked up at him with these big brown tear-filled eyes and said with all seriousness, "Daddy, you're breaking my heart." LMAO! (Um, Daddy caved on the intended punishment, btw.)

Anywho, she's usually VERY good, and so I know she would love (and deserve) a necklace like Eden's!

I also suspect because she had just learned printing her name in Kindergarten, maybe Candace was too long?

I am enjoying reading about what everyone has to say about their children! The subject of this giveaway is such an entertaining idea! My 7 yo daughter calls herself a fierce fashionista and I know it is because she heard me call someone that a few months ago. It is humorous because wherever we go, whether it is to the grocery store, the library, the mall, my daughter strikes up conversations with strangers and when they ask her her name, she says, I'm a fierce fashionista ya know! People just look at her, and then at my and start laughing! I worry that she is so friendly with strangers, but I never let her out of my sight, and sometimes I even hold her hand, so I need to keep a short leash on this one! She loves to dress up, by that I mean she loves to wear all her good clothes, and when I try and pick out her outfits, she won't wear what I select, so maybe she is turning into a fierce fashionista right under my nose! Of course, I won't let her get away with too much, yet I want her to develop her own sense of self and identity! I just thought this sort of thing wouldn't happen until she was a teenager, LOL! I know she would adore having one of these necklaces, she would probably never take it off! Thank you for offering this very cool giveaway and for allowing us to share our stories!

She gets up every morning with her 2 year old brother. SHe is such a girly girl and with all these boys in the house it would be nice to treat her like the princess she is with something girly just for her. My daughter, Ellen, is beginning daycare in three weeks when I go back to work, and I am just heartbroken. She'll be 13 weeks when she starts, and I am going to miss her snuggles.

Right now, my favorite funny thing about her is that she is in love with the ceiling fan in our bedroom. She smiles at it and talks to it. Whenever she is a little fussy, we lie in bed and look at the fan, and all is well.

I also love how she has huge smiles for her daddy when he comes home from work.
